Location,off street parking.

Friendly staff, nice filling breakfast, parking on site, good location. We took a 'Ricky Tours' boat ride through the mangroves and had an excellent 2.5 hours - knowledgeable boatman, lots of birds, crocs etc. A good cheap restaurant close by is La Barracruda.
Bring mozzi repellent if you venture into the mangroves.

The view from the windows faced the lagoon.
The beds were comfortable, and the linen was brilliantly white.
The room was clean and spacious.
The breakfast was delicious: an omelet with cheese, a bowl of fresh fruit, grilled bread, coffee, and juice.
The toilet was broken.
The host's son Ricki Jesus was self-serving. He strongly insisted this was the best time for a 2.5-hour calm boat trip to see crocodileS, Mayan baths, and swimming. In reality, the trip lasted about 2 hours, we saw only one small crocodile, there were no Mayan baths, and we were left freezing on a dirty, unpleasant-smelling beach. No hot drinks were offered. Communication was difficult due to Ricki's limited English, questions were not answered, and some information shared appeared inaccurate. Overall, the experience did not match what was promised!
