Welcome to Villa Maré, a beautiful 8-year old Italian style home with view of Carmel Mission, Carmel Bay, and Santa Lucia Mountains.
The home accommodates 3 couples comfortably, plus one single for a total of 7 people. Please note that all guests sleeping in the middle floor share one bathroom.
We want you to know that we have Ring doorbells at the front and back doors. Vaughn monitors them on his cell phone. There are 3 smart TV's in guest areas. There are no other sensing or recording devices in the guest space.
We have a motion detector at the bottom of the driveway. It gives a sound signal in our personal area.
You will enjoy large decks and modern amenities including an elevator. Located on a quiet road near Mission Trails Park...stroll into charming and artful Carmel-by-the-Sea in 15 minutes. One half acre of beautiful gardens and fountains provide soothing relaxation. You are minutes from everything. This extraordinary home will be a vacation unto itself. Enjoy a visit to Italy without jet lag.

Hosts were next level - from clear communication, unexpected food/drink provisioning, umbrellas on hand for our spring weather, and checking in to see if all was ok or if questions. The view from the top living area was beautiful - looking out over the mission and bay towards Point Lobos. Place was peaceful with an extensive garden. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing visit! Pat and Vaughn have been the best hosts I have experienced since renting with VRBO. They went above and beyond to make sure that my family enjoyed our stay. The location is great! You can access all that Carmel has to offer by taking a quick drive or a scenic walk. We will definitely return!

Excellent communication with hosts from beginning to end. Delightful home in a gorgeous setting. Looking out over the Mission to the Bay. The elevator is such a remarkable plus for us as we have 1 family member using a wheelchair. But she was able to get to every floor!!Pat and Vaughn are extremely hospitable hosts leaving delicious snacks and drinks/coffee. They have invested a lot of love into this beautiful home and we all felt it. We’re definitely hoping to return one day!
