Villa Mariola

Returning to Villa Mariola for a second visit was just as wonderful as the first, everything I said in my previous review still holds true. This time, I especially appreciated the thoughtfulness of the owners, who took the time to warn me about what was expected to be the worst storm in the Canary Islands in 10 years. Despite the dramatic weather, it didn’t interrupt the sense of calm at all, and I was still able to relax completely in my own little happy Mariola bubble. The location remains ideal, with a great selection of restaurants and bars just a 10-minute walk away, and several larger supermarkets near, including Lidl, Aldi, and HiperDino, making everything very convenient. Another fantastic stay, and I’d happily return again.

Ok, It did rain a little, mostly at night, but honestly it was a real treat to see the island so lush and green.

Outside furniture dated. Pool table limited space available.

Das Haus bietet viele Möglichkeiten. Mit eigenem Parkplatz und privatem Pool eine super Basisstation. Der Außenbereich ist sichtgeschützt. Wenig Verkehr also sehr ruhige Umgebung. Der nahe Ort und die Küste bieten alles was wir gesucht haben.

Der Billardtisch ist eher Deko. Einzelne Gartenmöbel könnten mal ein Update bekommen.

Great size and amazing pool, garden had several sunbathing spots to catch the sun all day. TV had a lot of channels and mix of streaming films/tv shows. Parade of shops/restaurants a 5-10 min walk away, as well as a Michlin * restaurant; Kamezí - their bakery is open in the day and they sell amazing croissants.

Didn't directly affect us as we were staying as a couple, but the second bedroom smells strongly of damp, I wouldn't want to sleep in the room.
