Hotel Casona El Arral

One of the most wonderful hotels I’ve stayed in. You can feel the amount of warmth and care that went into it. It is in a beautiful historic building with a big garden and a view over the river and mountains. My room was very spacious and tastefully arranged and had everything I needed. The breakfast was also lovely. Gabriel, Anna and Ines were fantastic hosts - I felt very welcome and it was a privilege to spend some time chatting with their lovely family and to see kids playing. Liérganes is a great village and I hope to return again in the future and stay at El Arral again.

La historia y la decoración

El desayuno un poco limitado

Estuvimos 4 noches y nos hubieramos quedado 4 semanas. Todo inmejorable. Inés es una gran anfitfiona, muy profesional y ama su trabajo y su casa y esto se nota en todo. El desayuno excelente, las habitaciones super amplias y cómodas. Espacios donde estar, el jardin maravilloso. Además nos enseñó la capilla. Las habitaciones están en el primer y segundo piso, pero Inés se ofreció enseguida a ayudarnos.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Leider gab es das erst ab halb 9. Die Lage des Hauses war ebenso gut und das Zimmer sehr sauber. Eine späte Ankunft war kein Problem. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld hat gut geklappt. Das Haus war beeindruckend schön und sehr gut gepflegt.

Die Matratzen waren ziemlich hart. Die Müllabfuhr kam täglich und war sehr laut, daher wachte man früh auf. Das Frühstück gab es allerdings erst viel später. Eine Tasse Kaffee oder ein Glas Wasser wäre daher angenehm gewesen. Die Parksituation war lösbar, aber etwas schwierig. Englisch wurde nicht so gut gesprochen, aber mit ein paar Brocken Spanisch ging es so auch.
