We give a 15% DISCOUNT on all 2026 rentals due to a construction site next to the property. We don't expect guests to be affected too much (so far [mid July 26] we have not had any issues with guests [and were fully booked]), but want to describe the circumstances:
There is a construction of a single-family home on the neighbouring plot on the west side of the property. We are happy to send current pictures that give an idea of how views are obstructed. Mainly at the western end of the gardens behind the house. As they are very wide, it is not too close,
There is one crane and some machinery working, which is audible in the garden behind the house, less so on the seaside terraces, the pool and the other gardens. Inside the house so far, nothing was audible. The most exposed room is the master room, in which you may experience background noise, should noise levels increase in the future. In the rest of the house we don’t expect noise. The terraces are quite far away and the pool additionally has some protection from the rocks in which it is built into.
Work is only during weekdays and during working hours, currently ~8am to ~3pm.
Andalusia has very strict laws regarding manual labor in high temperatures. When temperatures rise above ~34°C (regular temperatures in June, July and August) it is well possible that works are being stopped or at least stopped early in the day (~2pm).

We stayed for one week 28/3/26 to 4/4/26 as a party of 8 adults and three children under 10 years old. The Villa is really wonderfully spacious and very well equipped with glasses and dishes etc. The children particularly liked the indoor pool which we had heated although some of the hardier adults manage some brief swims in the outdoor pool as well. The children used the trampoline quite often too.In addition to the comfortable areas inside there are numerous outside seating areas and tables so everyone can sit in shade or sun as preferred. The location suited us very well in that we could easily walk into town in about 15mins to cafes, restaurants and some small supermarkets. Various larger supermarkets are available within 10mins by car.We could also easily reach the busier beach areas whenever we wanted by Uber etc.The next door building works which are noted on the current Villa description only operated between 8am and mid afternoon and are most visible from the side terrace of the master bedroom. There was some drilling and some ‘beeping’ when they moved the tower crane but overall it didn’t affect us much.Communication with the host was very quick and they were most helpful. We all had a wonderful time.

Pure magic – we barely left the villa!We stayed at Quinta La Colina as a group of five girlfriends, and it was truly one of the most beautiful getaways we’ve ever had. Honestly, we had planned to explore the area much more — but the villa is so incredibly stunning that we hardly left the property.The views are absolutely breathtaking. Having coffee on the terrace in the morning while looking out over the Mediterranean felt surreal. Nearly every room opens up to the sea — the light, the space, the atmosphere… it’s unforgettable.The house itself is luxurious yet warm and soulful. The interiors are elegant, beautifully curated, and incredibly comfortable. You can feel the attention to detail everywhere. The beds are exceptional (we all slept amazingly well), the bathrooms are spacious and high-end, and everything was spotless.The gardens are a dream — huge, lush, and full of hidden corners. It feels like your own private paradise. We spent hours on the sunbeds (littel too cold for the outside pool but there is an indoor one), reading, talking, laughing, cooking together, and simply enjoying the peace and privacy. It’s the perfect place to reconnect and unwind.Communication with the host was flawless — friendly, responsive, and professional from start to finish.Whether for a friends’ trip, family gathering, or retreat, this villa is truly special. We would come back in a heartbeat.10/10 – definitly the most beautiful home I’ve ever stayed in.

Our family of 9 adults and 3 children visited La Rotonda mid-October 2025 for a week holiday. The house was selected on basis of its location and facilities Arriving at the gate we were stunned by the courtyard and house appearance (learned later that the house was design by the American architect Robert Mosher.Entering the house our impression was maintained going through the entrance, the large inhouse dining and large living area with several windows facing the sea. All rooms were nicely fitted and of a quality comparable with suite standard at 4/5 stars hotel (with the master bedroom as outstanding). In addition, there is a large outside area facing the sea with large dining area ( grill facilities) and lounge area. We were blessed with very nice weather (sunny and 30 degrees daytime and 20 during evening/night) and we spent most of time using the outdoor facilities as well as the impressive garden with trees from the start i.e. around 60-70 years old. These together with the large lawn areas and the house itself made an exclusive impression of the propertyThe house is used by the owners privately which provides a nice feeling of home being when staying as guests.As to service and help Elena (Head of guest service), Daniela and Diego all were very observant to our wishes / needs in all aspects i.e. house function and what to do as visitor.Al- in-all we had an excellent stay at La Rotonda and can strongly recommend it for vacation.Br pierre

I stayed here for 1 week & in total there were 7 adults, 1 baby & 2 kids so 10 in total, 4 separate families & this Gillian was perfect for that. You could all more than comfortably spend time together but also separately if you wanted. The photos on the website done this villa no justic at all, it is even more beautiful in real life. The rooms are huge, house is clean what more do you need. You can take dogs but if you don't have a dog this house is still perfect as you would never know dogs have stayed. The best bit for us about it was the fact that it had both a indoor & outdoor pool which was ideal for my baby as outside was too cold. The location is just perfect, just a 10 min walk you come to a lovely square with beautiful restaurants. Diageo the live in caretaker was fantastic too, helped us with the BBQ & called a taxi for us when we needed one. I am a very fussy person but this villa totally lived up to my expectations & I would return & recommend to my friends & family.
