Beachfront Rooftop Penthouse with Plunge Pool - Reeds House 1

We had an amazing week at Reeds House! Penthouse one was perfect. We loved everything about it, the location, the oceanfront views. The staff was amazing. Katherine and Mark made our stay memorable. Can't wait to go back!

The condo was beautiful and the view spectacular! Mark was very helpful and Alice was wonderful! Thank you for a lovely vacation!

We enjoyed our second visit to the Penthouse from 7/7 until 7/21/2022. We had Pam as our cook/housekeeper, and she was superb. She is a very sweet, gentle hearted person who is a great cook. And a hard worker. She kept the space extremely clean, and we came home with 95% of our clothes clean. She saved us a day washing when we returned. We truly enjoyed our time with her and her sense of humor. We also reunited with Mark, and he was ever present if we needed him. He kept the pool sparkling and our chairs waiting for our beach visits. He handled all of our luggage which was very helpful after and before a day of traveling. All the other members of the staff at Reeds House were very friendly and helpful, making the stay stress free. A big thanks to all of them. Asmara, our concierge was helpful on every inquiry. She painlessly arranged a golf outing and was quick with a response to any questions we had. I would like to arrange a tip for her if you could direct me how to do this. Unfortunately, we did not meet a property manager this visit. We were a bit surprised at the amenities when we arrived. On our previous visit we were impressed with the Blue Sky literature on the accommodations and the area. There was only a one page document that was all we really needed, but short of the island pitch we expected after a two year hiatus because of covid. We also remembered having items like soaps, shampoo, q-tips and cotton balls in the bathroom on our previous visit. Sabrina, who works for the owner of the unit was able to find soap for the visit. But this was a surprise for a premium unit such as this. One disappointment was the beach. No sand, and rocks and coral in the shallow water made swimming a little tough. Of course, this was no one's fault --just the luck of timing was bad for us from Mother Nature. But make no mistake, we enjoyed our visit immensely. We now have visited Barbados 14 times and we love the island and her people. This was our second visit to Reeds House, and we would expect to return. Our house keeper Adanma was excellent!! She really was fantastic and made our stay . Mark the security man was also extremely helpful too . The views were incredible and the apartment had good space. Wifi was good and it felt safe and secure. Comfortable bed and plenty of bath towels . There is a lot that can be improved for the price . It didnt feel luxurious . Beach towels were old and tattered Bed Pillows under the pillow covers were mildewed in places Hot water was non existent and warm water was intermittent On roof terrace it looked unloved and could be dressed much better Roof terrace needs an sun umbrella/parasol Mirrors in bathroom and fittings in places looked worn Only 3 bowls available Sofa and kitchen looked quite old Great location and fantastic staff but interior needs refurbing and re-dressing.
