Charming little house in a residential neighborhood very close to a great long beach (3 min walk). You can even glimpse a little bit of ocean from the big surrounding veranda. Very nice.   Of course, you can see here and there that the house is not quite new, and there are some minor shortcomings (washer but no dryer, thin supplies like one toilet paper only, some holes in the windscreens). But that’s okay, it has the beachy feeling we were looking for. Rooms are decorated nicely, the wooden floor is beautiful, kitchen and bath do their job.   So it could be the perfect vacation home for a couple like us or easily for a family of four. BUT…   We arrived on a calm and very humid day with 30 degrees – unfortunately, it was even hotter in the inside... Surprisingly, the house has no air-conditioning! We could hardly find any sleep, the vans at the ceilings didn’t help much. Obviously, when you book a house for about 300 bucks per night at the sunny Sunshine Coast you expect an air-con, and it should definitely be explicitly stated that there is none.   Also, there is no Wi-Fi. Which is really bad since you can’t get a stable mobile connection either. In 2020 internet access should be standard even in older beach houses…   It would be really easy to upgrade (air-con at least in the bedrooms, wifi) and offer a great holiday location. But right now: 5 points only, we wouldn’t book again.
