    We liked our room apart from the bathroom. It needs some repairs and updates but would be great if they are carried out. The breakfast was superb and staff were friendly and keen to provide us with everything we needed. We would stay again.

    It's old in and out which is it attraction. The staff are excellent, very friendly and efficient. . The furniture is old and quirky as is the interior. Some folk don't appreciate the character of the place. Dinner and breakfast were too. The bar full of character is excellent.

    Staff were fine and main guy at the bar was helpful and friendly. I appreciate Cornwall in peak season is very expensive hence we booked this place. It's very basic and treat it as somewhere to sleep and it's fine. Rooms and facilities could do with a good refresh and update. Someone's half bottle of water was in the fridge and a used soap in the shower so cleaning could do with a shape up. Towels were lovely though. The artwork in the rooms seemed too personal to the owner's taste but put us off, to the point I covered up one in our room. Stay as a last resort or if budget is a priority. Breakfast is ok. The town isn't the most attractive either.l sadly hence we didn't want to spend anytime there.
