A real gem

We had an amazing stay in Ammou Area. The complex is a real gem. The Stamatis’ family are the best hosts you can imagine – always calm and smiling, always ready to help. We had a problem with the car and Stamatis help us to solve it when we arrived. He literally saved our vacation. His granddaughter who makes her first steps in the family business, with her prefect English is really kind, very well-mannered and will be a great next generation host. The houses, the gardens and the whole area are maintained by Asem – quiet, tireless and ready to fix and clean everything on time. The private beach is another pearl – you can just relax and watch the sun set or you can do water sports as there are different facilities such as paddle boards, water wheels on the spot. The place is clean, very convenient with large BBQ area. We are looking forward to comming back there.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful and peaceful location

We had a fantastic time staying in the Ammou Area on Ammouliani. The place is really comfortable and very well equipped with everything you need for a longer stay - including a lovely outdoor barbecue area. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, and you can really feel the care they’ve put into every detail of the property. The small beach is just a few minutes down the hill, and it’s absolutely beautiful and peaceful. We were there in early June, and the setting was perfect - calm, quiet, and ideal for relaxing. The property is in great condition and very well maintained. It’s a short 5-minute drive to Ammouliani town, so you’re close enough to restaurants and shops but far enough to enjoy total peace and quiet. The views are stunning, and it’s a real pleasure to wake up and walk down to the sea or relax on the small pontoon. Great for families too — we noticed other families with children enjoying the space as well. We would definitely love to come back!

Relaxing and private vacation

The property itself and the location is really special and beautiful - exactly the right place to be at, if you want to have a relaxing, private not overcrowded vacation. You will find all kind of vegetables and fruits. The room size is perfect for a couple, is designed very welcoming and warm, is clean and has a nice kitchen, where you can prepare your breakfast and dinner. In Addition every room has a private grill which can be used. The view from the balcony was beautiful especially in the evening during the sunset. The private beach equipped with subs and a boat was amazing. The water is turquoise and there is even a little sand bank.

The surrounding greenery was awesome, amazing view and great private beach. We were 2 but the accommodation is great for more families to come as a group and enjoy the place Very helpful staff they did the best to help us solve a car issue we had and it was done for a day :)

Jewel on the hill

What this family did with their land is amazing. The beach on the rocks is luxurious and a wild experience with stairs cut in the stone. Water sport provided, that was awesome! So much fun, thank you! Mandarines, olive threes and vineyards all around. The view and the dedicated outside table and BBQ allowed us to fully breath in and enjoy a beautiful stay. This was the factor that changed our whole experience. The beds were really comfortable and the room, while a bit dark, was chilled and calm. The towers and bed covers were with nice quality as well, I loved the embroidered details. We had everything that was needed and coffee capsules for every day during our stay ❤️☕❤️ The host was super friendly, we had great wine from the family winery, and some virgin olive oil as well. (Sorry about the cork screw 🤪, but it was horrible anyway, this wine deserves better) I would definitely visit again, this place is a jewel 💙💙💙

The road to the beach was nicely made with stones and beautiful, but only partially. We all slipped a few times, so we had to be extra careful going down. The stores on the island didn't really have much, so BBQed vegetables only, I didn't find a place for fresh meat or fish. The threat of visiting in May I guess 😂 Having to drive to get water and supplies is a bit handy, but I guess the location is worthy. I would appreciate a vending machine with pos, I guess I am out of camping shape. 😁 That is not a negative, just something to have in mind before booking. We forgot some stuff in the fridge. I am sorry :)

We fall in love with the place. We really enjoyed our stay and for sue will return for longer next time. The apartment was fantastic, very well decorated till the small detail. Very specious bathroom and well equipped kitchen. Every unit has its own barbecue and place to sit and relax. The owner was very kind and he even gave us a bottle of wine from their own production to take home.

Spectacular accommodation and views

The property features the best possible view on the island. The attention to details in the rooms is exceptional. One of the best pillows and matters we have ever slept on. We loved the surrounding areas.

The bathroom is really tiny and the sink is way too small, which causes most of the water to go on the floor. The sleeping on the alternative bed is not comfortable due to its proximity to the ceiling. I ended up sleeping in my van in the last night :-)

Everything was great, the host, the accommodation, the wifi, the location and the atmosphere. 10/10. Immediately after booking we received (via Viber) detailed and well written instructions on how to arrive with google coordinate links, we were properly welcomed when we arrived with a bottle of home made wine, a tour and general info. We were allowed to use the barbique outside, there was a very nice coffee selection, clean and well equipped room as well as a kitchen. Overall, as others have written, this place is a must visit. 10/10.

Only slight nuisances are the lower pressure of the shower water, waiting for hot water to arrive for 2 minutes, and the use of diesel generators for electricity - the slight constant noise they make becomes evident when trying to spend a quiet evening on the outdoor tables, perhaps in the near future it's best they be replaced by solar panels or isolated better for noise.

Perfect couple getaway and views are breathtaking!

We loved the feel of being in the nature but at the same time having a glamours stay. Great area that has its own private beach. Seating and laying area are on top of rocks, which we loved the unique display.

Not too much privacy outdoors, but it didn’t bother us as we took advantage of our seating area by our room.

Perfect stay and vacation

Everything was perfect even the small details and the hospitality of our host was really admirable ! Clean room , quiet atmosphere and an astonishing view from the terrace to the sea and the island - everything you need to relax and recharge your batteries! Whenever I decide to visit Ammouliani again , there will be no doubt in my head where I will stay.

Ammou Area is a fantastic place to stay in and relax in quiet. With a beautiful view, comfortable rooms, and friendly people, it’s the best place to stay when visiting Ammouliani. They make their own wine that we enjoyed on our balcony in the evening. Would certainly recommend!

The room is very clean, very nice and helpful staff. Cleaning service every day. Nice beach with facilities. Very comfortable beds. Take the lower rooms as you have barbecue facilities and sun beds with sea view.

The privacy in the room is rather poor. You need to close all windows/ curtains to change. The way to the private beach is very hard and long, especially in the lunch time when is very hot outside. The bunk bed is not for claustrophobic people 😊
