Game of two halves

Lots of nice thoughtful touches, cosy and homely, like the decor, and excellent location.

Shower hose needs replacing as unusable without leaking, bin right outside house and neighbours bins outside kitchen window unsightly and attracts wasps. Slight damp smell/mould near sink.

Great get away cottage.

Location is perfect for town centre and parking very good, the cottage was very well equipped and clean.

A very small moan, my elderly parents couldn't use the bath/shower as it was to high for them to get in and there were no grab rails to assist them, due to extremely warm weather both attic bedrooms were like ovens and even with all windows open wouldn't cool down, in normal weather this would not be an issue.

Nice clean property in very central location.

Lovely cosy cottage, nice and clean. Stayed with my one year old - it is advertised for two adults but actually has a twin room and a double room so would be fine for a small family. Has a well-stocked kitchen and bathroom is very clean. Nice and warm. Has car parking immediately outside the front door but note that 50kw electric charging is a ten min walk away and you need to order a charge scotland pass before arriving.

Had asked through booking.com whether a high chair was available and was told there wasn't - so lugged one all the way to scotland to find there was indeed a highchair in the cupboard under the stairs.

A cosy stay in Moffat

Daisy cottage is comfortable and cosy. It has everything you need for a short break in Moffat. Great to be close to the town centre but also just a few minutes away from lovely woodland and river walk. Hosts available and very helpful.

A lovely quaint cottage that is very well situated

A very quaint little cottage with everything you need available. A very short walk from Moffat main street that has some lovely cafés, shops and pubs. The cottage is nothing fancy but that is not a negative comment at all; it's cozy, will comfortably accommodate 4 people (a nice double bedroom and 2 single beds in a separate bedroom). Good size kitchen, cozy living room area and a lovely bathroom downstairs. I would happily stop there again.

Bed was a bit too soft and duvet too thick but that is just personal preference

A wee home from home.

Daisy Cottage is perfectly located for exploring Moffat on foot. The owner had provided lots of useful information which meant that, although I'd visited Moffat frequently, I was able to see a lot more of this lovely town, which greatly enhanced the stay. My kids loved the place, especially the kitchen and "nested" (settled in) easily on arrival. The beds and living room seating were comfortable and everything was easy to find and operate. A place I'd recommend for groups of up to four people and families.

A small point. There is a garden area which can be viewed from the upper landing but which is not accessible or is not part of the property and so it was a disappointment that it wasn't available. However, it didn't mar our stay.

Beautiful little house in a good location. Walks from the doorstep!

We liked the facilities and the location of the property. Key collection was fantastic and we loved that it was a dog friendly property.

The downside was the work going on sandblasting next door - which was very loud early morning, we wish we'd have had prior warning as had to wash the car before getting on the motorway.
