If you are considering this hotel only for the spa, then look for others. Otherwise very good hotel.

Very spacious and clean room with a very nice balcony. Very good breakfast. Cozy bar with good selection of drinks and nice restaurant.

The spa was below expectations. We booked the hotel especially for the spa. To book a room is not cheap and the spa is not included. So you have to pay the entrance. And, being a guest of the hotel, does not guarantee you a spot so you have to book in advance. Even if you are lucky you get the spa only for 2 hours. You get only 1 towel and no water. We have been to other hotels where you get access to the spa for your entire staying and it is available only for the hotel's guests. The room's tv has no apps and you get to watch only cable tv.

Excellent hotel with short stroll to centre

Quiet location with just a 10 minute walk into the centre of Malmedy. Some lovely restaurants and bars around the central square. Excellent breakfast buffet offered.

Relaxing romantic stay.

Spacious room - we booked the suite with spa bath and it was perfect. Very clean and cosy furnished. Comfortable bed.

The bar and restaurant could use some interior pimping. It feels rather cold, unpersonal. Perhaps some plants and carpets could provide a more cosy atmosphere.

A proper 4 star hotel but Swimming pool access should be free for guests

Everything was setup very nicely. Staff was very friendly. some nice views from the hotel. the snow made it extra worthwhile.

Swimming pool access was not free. you need to buy a pass for it which in my opinion is a bit weird especially if you’re paying such a premium price.

The restaurant inside the hotel was awful, the food was simply disgusting and the least from creative for the price requested. After we complained, the staff gave us a lot of attitude that evening and made us feel unwelcome. You have to pay extra for accessing the spa. Views from the room were not amazing. Very boring town, would not stop there again to visit the Ardennes.

a luxurious feel

amazing executive room. the bath is beautiful, huge and so pleasant. the spa was really nice especially since we were the only ones, as it requires a reservation. the restaurant also deserve some points. it’s just 10min drive from the spa circuit.

the room was a little dark in the design but we liked how cosy it felt. the staff was a tad disorganized when it came to planning the in room breakfast and we had to follow up several time but that’s really no big deal. they were doing their best.

Comfortable

very clean, comfortable and close to city center. Also like that we, as hotel guests, had free access to the sauna, steam room and pool. The buffet breakfast over the weekend was also really nice and they accommodated us with allergies quite well.

Paid for 2 massages at the spa (1 alone and another as couple), the ladies were lovely and friendly, but the massages were quite disappointing. We’ve had massages in many different parts of the world and unfortunately, the ones at the spa did not even make it onto the top 20. We kept waiting for actual massage and the pressure points you get to know when having regular massages, but it never came. Even when we kept saying “please press harder” or “more pressure please”. We were basically rubbed in with oil instead of being massaged. There is a major difference between massaging with oil and just rubbing oil onto someone’s body. We would recommend staying at the hotel, but if you are looking for a proper pressure massage to de-stress, rather book that somewhere else.
