Great host, who went the extra mile for us

The host Birgit was incredibly helpful on arrival and, especially (!), after we had checked out. We (knuckleheads) forgot our coats in the wardrobe on the morning we left and only realised once we arrived at home. When we told her about it and asked about the possibility of her sending them to us, she did not hesitate and sent them by post as soon as she was able to. Big kudos to Birgit and those that like her are willing to go the extra mile for others.

Very responsive hosts, showed everything we wanted. We had a great time, very beautiful place to stay. We had a cross country skiing race in Ulrichen. Lots of impressions about Switzerland! We want to come in the summer!

Great stay for a few nights

We were welcomed to the apartment by a very nice lady. The apartment itself was spacious and had the most loveley view over the mountains. The wifi-connection worked great.

We prefer a firmer mattress. I didn't sleep that well in the double bed, so one night I moved to the couch and another to the single bed. But this probably is a matter of opinion. (Great couch by the way).

comfortable location with rustic feel up the hill from old village

Great location above the Rhone valley. Very quiet even though right on the road leading up from old village area (with its Gondola from the valley) towards the "Sessel-Lift" and main activity area that runs up the mountain. Distance from the old village about 10minutes by foot, great views of the valley along the road up. Facility has a rustic feel and look to it (nothing for those looking for fancy or thrills) and appears to cater to the younger crowd, often folks with mountain bikes who were exploring the newly opening bike trails (accessible via the "Sessel-Lift" 10 minutes up the hill). Main room was nicely furnished (new and very comfy couch plus another bed), and large with balcony that had mid-day sun but nice shade in the later afternoon.. Bed room was towards the back of the buidling and quite dark (great for those who prefer a darker environment for sleeping). Owners were very easy going, friendly, helpful, very willing to accommodate extra needs. Use of washing machine was a plus. Overall impression of Bellwald: Quiet little village that has lots of holiday homes, most of them were still boarded up during our stay in mid-late June. Old village very photogenic, new housing also nicely done, with only some 70-80's "Bausünden". In the old village area near the "valley" gondola Bellwald offers a little supermarket and postal service along the main road where one also finds the tourist office.

Kitchen area is tiny and a bit sparsely furnished, could use simple kettle for heating water & microwave. Stairs leading up to the building meant that everything one brings has to be carried up, not easy for older folks or folks with little kids.

Super einfache Kommunikation und einfaches Zimmer, war völlig ideal für mich

Super einfache und nette Kommunikation. Die Lage war ebenfalls gut und ich konnte dadurch, dass keine weiteren Gäste da waren, das ganze "Apartment" nutzen und in Ruhe arbeiten, wohl eher Glück. Aber wäre bestimmt auch sonst gut gewesen

voldeed wel aan de verwachtingen en voor Zwitserse norm: goede prijs-/kwaliteitverhouding

het uitzicht is mooi; makkelijk in te checken. Wel vooraf doen, want de roaming in Zwitserland is STERVENSDUUR.

Bellwald was heel rustig geworden, weinig horeca open in juli en "vrij" prijzig, niks te maken met het Lärchenwald, maar wel vermeldenswaard. Wat vrij vaak voorkomt in Zwitserland: gedeelde badkamer is niet meer van deze tijd.

Très bon séjour dans un super appartement !

Très bien équipé et beaucoup d'attentions pour le bien-être et le confort des hôtes (bougies, petit mot d'accueil sur la porte, oeufs de la maison, sauna a disposition, tables de picnic) L'appartement est spacieux et très convivial avec une belle vue!

Сподобалося все, від розташування готелю до гостинноті господарів. Нажаль ми так і не познайомилися з господарями, хотілося б їм особисто подякувати. На кожних дверях номерів табличка з іменем гостя, так що знайти свій номер не було жодних складнощів. Дісталися до готелю пізно ввечорі, сподіваюся нікому не завдали дискомфорту, намагалися заселятися якомога тихіше. І найбільше сподобалося відсутність руських туристів!
