Quaint and peaceful

Travelling from Australia we chose a quiet destination as we had a car. This was perfect for us some country life. The wood shed is beautifully presented and everything uou need for a comfortable stay. Local pubs were recommended and we visited The Royal Oak twice. Our day trips took us to Lizard Point which l can highly recommend and many quaint villages. Can highly recommend the woodshed. Thanks for a great stay..

No washing machine or dryer. Travelling it would have made it easier. We had options in Tureo to go to laundry but waited hours as very busy.

The Wood Shed

The Wood Shed is located in a quiet spot with a lovely garden and close to a variety of tourist attractions.. It's clean with nice furnishings. The hosts are excellent. We had a minor problem which was sorted the same day. The map coordinates sent via WhatsApp on the day of travel were particularly useful.

Lovely Country Cottage

Lovely rural location requiring car to access. Only 10 minutes to Penryn and 20 minutes to Falmouth. Hosts were delightful. Cottage beautifully renovated. Kitchen well equipment for cooking. BBQ was a bonus.

Disappointed in the comfort of the beds and pillows. No toiletries (shampoo, shower gel, tissues) provided.

A relaxing, hidden place to spend quality time in the Cornish country side

Me and my family loved the location, the woodshed was fully equipped, clean and modern. And we arrived with some nice Cornish treats to get going. Jess also provided some toys and books for my 2 year old daughter 😀

Great location for families looking to experience the major sites of cornwall

The Shed is perfect for a family stay, comfortable, very quiet. The hosts are super nice and friendly and helped with advice and reccomendations for the area.

The only downside is that in the immediate surroundings there is not much to see by foot, but we didn't mind a lot because for trip by cars the location is perfect.

I own properties which I let out long term, I have furnished these with IKEA products, I don’t expect to see them in a holiday let. I was aware that perhaps you were attempting the hygga ethos, which is after all Danish and it is not about simply purchasing on mass Swedish inspired products from IKEA. The bedding should have been ironed before arrival, and the Wi-Fi was very variable. The initial few hours and the last day was inadequate to enable use at any level.

The location was perfect for exploring Cornwall. The Woodshed exceeded expectations beautifully converted well equipped super clean. The hosts made us feel extremely welcome . Completely fabulous

The best place we’ve stayed in for a UK holiday, absolutely spotless and so well equipped. We had a week there and could have had 2 very easily. Thanks to our very friendly hosts, we’ll definitely be back.

Great location for travelling around Cornwall, nice and quiet, off the beaten track but beautiful surrounding areas with walks and cycle paths allowing us to explore without having to take the car!!

Some more child clothes suitable wardrobes/hangers would be great...

Hidden gem in West Cornwall
