AVAL Stylish 1-Bedroom Apartment in Notting Hill

The place was clean, comfortable and in a good location. Looked the same as the photos and everything was in good condition. The bed was comfy, two TVs which was nice!

Advertised as self check-in, but 30 mins before the arrival time I gave I got a message from a lady saying she is on her way now to check me in. So I am now rushing so I don't make her wait. She shows me a lockbox and that is it, definitely could have done that myself. On checkout, someone arrives at 9:50 so I head out, they tell me that it actually wasn't the correct lockbox that she showed me. I think it's a little bit cheeky to show up before checkout time, why not just wait until 10? It was also fairly noisy every day from above, stomping and banging early in the morning and through the evening. And lastly just a little gripe, but why advertise a coffee and machine if it doesn't come with any coffee at all?

Great location with trains & buses a short walk away. Easy access to property with self check-in. Fully equiped kitchen. Good communication from owners/property managers.

Nowhere to place a suitcase (we’ve travelled from the other side of the world). Bedroom small- had to walk sideways around the bed on one side. Steep few steps down to bathroom, could be a problem for someone with mobility issues. Under the bed had not been cleaned.
