Very convienient and comfortable location with everything needed to feel at home

The location is great 10 minute walk to many restaurants and the water for snorkeling and swimming. Quiet neighborhood, not the prettiest, but very quiet. Loved having a picnic table outside for guests. Staff was extremely responsive. Loads of bath a d beach towels. On site car rental was very welcome. Apartment was older but very clean, beds and a/c were very good. We liked having a kitchen with all the tools

Very few issues. Washer and dryer didn’t work very well - didn’t get warm Kitchen door screen didn’t seal so we couldn’t leave that door open for extra ventilation

prop manager very responsive. I left my travel pillow in room {they never tried to contact me}. I called them several days after checkout and they had it,

We would definitely stay there again!

It was super clean, enough space for all 3 of us, pretty complete kitchen set up (since we cooked alot), great internet, location easy to walk to shops and 3 minute drive to Walmart if needed. They even had some condiments and sun lotions for use if we forgot ours. We felt very safe and right at home!

One of the beds is definitely firmer so we let my Navy son have that one.:-D Might could have done with some more towels for beach stuff and more than 2 bed pillows.

Does the job

Rick, the host on site, is wonderful and friendly and accommodated our late arrival due to a flight delay. And the upstairs porch and picnic table is a wonderful place to hang out, with great views.

The unit we stayed in -- upstairs unit A -- was very, very spartan. While we were staying for only one night, between landing in Kona and heading to the other side of the island, it might be tough to be here multiple nights with a family; there's not much in the way of seating, no broom to sweep up your beach sand, and I'd definitely recommend looking through the kitchen to be sure you have what you need to prepare food (ie pans, oil, etc).
