We chose Fridhems pensionat because it was close to Visby and on the waterfront. I specially like old , historical hotels and this one has even a royal past which added to the experience. The house itself is a museum with specific rooms dedicated to its history. The room like in many of those places was middle size with a tiny ensuite, but it was comfy. I would recommend to ask for the big rooms at the front which are accessible through the front balcony ( not sure in winter though) The breakfast buffet was a cold one but acceptable.
I found that it was running on minimum staff doing all they could.

Great view from the room, nice sunsets from the balcony. Close to the beach.
