    We initially booked the hunters cabins but the beds were in horrible condition, bedding dirty. However the excellent manager, Elaine, was able to assist us in getting another room in the mountain view rooms area for our second evening stay. Took the experience from a 1-2 star rating to a 4-5 star rating! Cannot believe it was the same place. Would definately reccomend booking one or two levels "up" as it makes ALL the difference. Each cluster of rooms has its own self catering kitchen (equipped with cutlery, crockery, pots/pans, fridge, stove etc.) and braai area and fireplace. Therefore you can also bring your own food/drink if preffered. They made a fire at each boma in the resort each night. They have a great food menu with a variety of items from burgers, steaks, pizzas, toasties to pasta and kids options. Their poolside menu with wraps and tacos is delicious! They have a selection of drinks but not massive, and a lot was out of stock. They do not sell alcohol but you can bring your own. Their service was excellent and Elaine the manager went above and beyond to accommodate us. The cleaners, waiters etc. Were also super friendly and helpful.

    You need a 4× 4 to get to the place. The restaurant is very expensive. Make sure you pack everything because there are no shops nearby. I would recommend the place if you looking for a peaceful getaway where you are at one with nature.
