You walk into the great room when you check in and it is well designed. The area is spacious and the kitchen is very nice. Everything we needed was in the kitchen except the only large bowls available were plastic and it would have been nice to have metal or glass. Comfortable seating in the tv area. 2 of the downstairs bedrooms have jack and jill bathrooms with 2 other bedrooms. The other 3 bedrooms all have their own bathrooms. The one bathroom with a bath tub is in a room that also has a nursery attached to it and is upstairs with one other bedroom and a game room. There are TV's in every room. The bottom floor is fully accessible in all of the bedrooms and 2 of the bathrooms. Overall, hreat place for a larger family. Very close to the Wildlife Safari and easy to get to. Close to grocery stores. Highly recommend this house for a vacation rental and we are already planning on visiting again.

This is an excellent home for a couple or group. We had three generations and were so comfortable. The kitchen, living room, dining room is one very large room totally open so we were able to always be together. Owners are very responsive. I highly recommend this home. My husband and I plan on renting when it is just the two of us. Carlos Restaurant just down the street. Best Mexican food we’ve ever had!!

We had a wonderful stay. With the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, it was perfect for our group size. The host was great and very responsive when needed. The game room provided a fun time for every one of all ages. With the folding tables and chairs located on site, it provided the perfect amount of seating for our group for our Thanksgiving meal. Would definitely recommend this place and hope to rent it again in the future.

This home is the best place in Winston to stay if you're a large family going to wildlife safari. The house is very clean and well stocked with everything. The location is excellent and a short drive to the safari.

The property sued us very well. One was in a wheelchair so they were able to get around everywhere including the bathrooms. Room for everyone to visit and not feel like they are on top of each other As we were doing a family reunion, we did not go out into the area and sightsee, but I’m sure there would’ve been plenty to see. What’s the name? Very nice neighborhood. We were able to get out and go for walks with no problem.. The place was easy to find. Also plenty of room to park our cars.

We have stayed here a couple times now and have been very happy. Kids have their own bedrooms, all with tvs, the kitchen is huge and we love the open concept, which makes visiting with our family easy. The owners have always responded very promptly to our messages and are friendly and helpful. This is our first choice when we vacation in this area. The yard is very small, we like to be outside, but there is a park within walking distance, so it's not a big deal for us.

Our large family plus one of our teens' friends stayed over a long weekend and had a great relaxing stay! Lots of room for everyone! It's always great to plan where people will sleep ahead of time, so here is the bedroom layout: Downstairs right side of the hallway: 2 bedrooms with a shared bathroom between: One of the bedrooms had a queen bed, and one bedroom had 2 twin beds. Downstairs left side of the hallway (same): 2 bedrooms with a shared bathroom between: One of the bedrooms had a queen bed, and one bedroom had 2 twin beds. There was also a small bathroom at the end of the hall. Upstairs bedroom: Double bed with private bathroom. Upstairs Master: The master bedroom was spacious with a lovely small nursery room off to one side and master bathroom on the other side. There was also a game room upstairs with mini-arcade and foosball table. Kitchen, dining, and living room were all connected in a large, open floor plan. Kitchen was large and well stocked with appliances. We loved it!

The house was very well supplied with everything we needed to have a wonderful Thanksgiving meal. All we had to do was bring the food. All the kitchen gadgets and appliances we would need. Nice big open living room kitchen area. Only recommendation would be to maybe oil the bathroom doors that go from the bedroom into the bathroom rather noisy squeaking.

The house was a nice big space with a roomy kitchen to make food and hang out. We spend almost of our time playing the tennis tournament and it was good to have a place to recharge. Great place to come to of you want to stay more than a night and explore in different directions.

Quick drive to Wildlife Safari but could not find info on locations of good river spots. We all enjoyed the game room upstairs. The unscreened upstairs window posed a bit of a problem for our autistic granddaughter.

We really enjoyed the home. It was very clean and well organized. I have been in several rentals and this one had the best equipped kitchen of them all. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked with towels and tissue. The beds were comfortable and clean. Only one minor thing came to mind. We loved the home. It worked great for our large family to all be able to stay in one home together. Clean, updated. We had everything we needed. Only slight negative was the handicap accessible showers- when showering the water would go under door and completely flood the bathroom. We were warned about this though.

This home is surprisingly large in comparison to how it looks from the outside. Our family called it the T.A.R.D.I.S.! Honestly, this would be an excellent home to rent if you are a scouting or church group going to visit the Winston Wildlife Safari, which is a must see! The living room and ginormous kitchen is perfect for a large group. There are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms (some geared for those with disabilities which is a bonus). There is an additional TV room on the top level which kids would enjoy, although it was a little cramped and made my claustrophobia kick in (I opted to stay downstairs). This worked out really well for our family (mom with 3 kids (teen/college-age). We were comfortable; however, I do agree with a previous reviewer that the beds should be updated if possible just to bring the home to its highest potential, especially the beds which would be used by adults who may suffer from "Princess and the Pea" Syndrome! We are so grateful we were able to stay here. Thank you to the owners for immediate responses to questions and needs. We HIGHLY recommend everyone traveling through Winston visit the Wildlife Safari. That was one of our very favorite stops on our Oregon Coast trip. We thought it was just going to be a drive-through, but it also had a beautiful walk-through zoo with everything from zebras, to giraffes, to hippos, to cheetahs, red pandas and flamingos. We had a great time there.

The house was perfect for our family. Everyone had plenty of room and everyone got there own bed. It was nice that each bedroom connected to a bathroom. It was perfect for us to take kids to wildlife safari and we checked out the winery down the road. I would definitely recommend this to other larger groups. The only downside was that the neighbors were a little loud and woke us up in the middle of the night. There is a park walking distance that we took kids to. Neighborhood wasn't the greatest but everyone we passed at park was super friendly. This is one where you can't judge a book by its cover. Overall we had an excellent stay.

This home is perfect for a group or family vacation for visiting the Winston Safari!!! There are so many options for configuring sleeping arrangements if you have a baby in your group or light sleepers. The kitchen is very well equipped and stocked for cooking. Had we planned better for our weekend, we would have preferred to cook at the house then get take-out as much as we did because this kitchen is so great. These hosts have thought of everything their guests could possibly need and the house is spotless and super comfortable. We're not new to renting through VRBO and have stayed in all kinds of homes all over the world. This one is Five Stars All Day Long!!!

Our family of 8 had a great time at this rental! The living space was bigger than it looks in the pictures! The amenities (tp, paper towels, all soaps, cleaners, etc) were enough to last our whole stay (first time we haven't had to buy supplies)! The owners allowed us to host a family gathering, and responded promptly to allof any inquiries. The neighbors we interacted with were friendly (one let our kids pick mistletoe from her tree). There'a a park close by and a running track, plus all the "tourist" things. Finally, because I am skeptical when I read only positive reviews, I'll add that for us, a negative was that there wasn't much yard to speak of; we couldn't really play outside with the kids in the yard. But the park was a block away so not a big deal.
