First of all the house is gorgeous, spacious and the location is perfect. Pool out front and beach just a short walk away. The house is decorated beautifully and beachy. It has a beautiful outside porch with a bench and several chairs. There are two outside seating areas on the third and fourth level. We really enjoyed sitting out in the morning and evenings. We had two storms when we were there and we probably shouldn’t have been on the roof but it was one of our highlights. We also enjoyed walking into town and did that at least once a day. The location couldn’t be better. Secnic stays did send several people out to take care of the many problems we had. However , some had to be sent out twice to rectify the problem.

Unfortunately, we had a lot of issues that should’ve been taken care of before we arrived. The beautiful porch had disgustingly dirty furniture on it. I did take soap and water to clean enough to sit on but if it was my house I would never let my furniture get in that condition. While meeting people staying in other houses I noticed that their furniture was clean and well maintained. When we were deciding where to stay we looked for certain amenities. Bikes were one. On VBRO the property came with bikes, however, when I booked with booking.com apparently they weren’t listed. I called Secnic stays who managed the property and they said they didn’t come with them. We were confused and when we investigated further on some sites bikes were included and on Booking.com they weren’t? To me that doesn’t make sense because are they going to take them away if you use a certain company to book? That was our bad. Next the faucet on the kitchen sink was hanging on by a thread. There is no way the cleaners didn’t notice it. Also,the garbage disposal didn’t work. Next,after a long day of travel we went upstairs to shower and the shower was backed up. We had to turn the water off and on so it wouldn’t overflow. In the other bathroom there was no power so taking a shower was impossible in that bathroom so they had to shower in the one that was overflowing. Finally,after a long day of travel some of our party went to get into their beds and there was old food crumbs, sand and one had cobwebs and dead bugs in it. I was cold so I found a comforter and brought it downstairs. It was filthy. It had dirt marks and what I think was chocolate ice cream melted in several places but also something that looked like old dried blood. Before you say anything I am a nurse and I know what old dried blood looks like. I stain treated the comforter and most of the stains came out. I have pictures. Also,toe nail clippings on the floor and the spin cycle on the washing machindidn’t work.
