    Curiously nice stay in the tower of a Chateau which is conveniently on the way to the Jura mountains
    The guy running it was super friendly and helpful.
    The steps going up to the bed in the mezzanine were fine for me but my fiancee found it a little scary and I don't think they would be appropriate or safe for older people or young kids.

    Nice flat and location, but not ideal for anyone with joint issues.
    The flat is in a lovely location, there is allocated parking available. It is fitted out well with a kitchen area, lounge, bedroom and bathroom.
    The stairs to the bedroom are very difficult, I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone with joint issues. Even the stairs going up to the flat are narrow and steep. The shower wasn’t the best but good enough for a quick shower. It was ok for a one night stay but not sure I’d stay longer.

    Very pleasant apartment in an historic building.
    Great location. Beautiful old building.
    The code did not work to open the front gates. Quite dangerous as we were parked outside the gates with the rear of our car protruding onto a busy road yet we couldn't get the gates to open. Fortunately someone who lived there advised us that there was a side entrance and helped us manoeuvre the car back onto the road and gave us instructions to access the grounds,

    Lovely host, however the location is not ideal and the steps are very steep.
    Thierry the host was an absolute joy. Our greeting was seamless and smooth. The apartment was well stocked with all the necessary utilities for a prolonged stay even though we were only there one night.
    The narrow winding steps from the front door make it extremely difficult to carry heavy suitcases up them to the apartment. The steps / ladder leading from the living room to the bedroom are EXTREMELY steep and dangerous. There are no soaps or or body wash liquids in the shower.

    Loved staying in the turret of a real castle
    very unusual. clean, quiet and comfortable. easy to find on a main road into Dole. Very good communication with the owner and we were able to check in ahead of the official time as the apartment was ready for us.
    Not a “didn’t like “ just for others info: it’s on the outskirts of Dole so a 15 minute drive to the old town, too far to walk. The access to the apartment and to the sleeping area are via steep stairs so you need to be able bodied to manage them, so to be mindful of this if like us you book here to stay on the return from a ski trip, wouldn’t want to tackle the stairs with a knee in a brace!

    Lovely quirky studio apartment. Clean. Wifi. Parking.
    The fridge was a little noisy and the fan kept coming on throughout the night.
