The Olive Hill Guesthouse

Our host personally made and delivered- to our casita- a wonderful breakfast every morning. Each breakfast contained a delicious array of foods. It was a wonderful way to start a busy day of sightseeing. He also changed his schedule to fit our schedule when we needed to depart early one morning. This was truly exceptional service.

The road up to the guesthouse is a bit steep and narrow, but we did navigate it without difficulty. The location was a little out of the way but totally worth the extra few minutes of drive time to enjoy the beautiful views and ambiance.

They had everything we needed! Breakfast was good and such w beautiful quiet location. We would definitely come back!

Great location to visit the countryside and the pool is lovely! Location is a bit far away from the city but as long as you have a car, you’ll be fine. Lovely place for breakfast.

Willem was a wonderful host! Him and his wife have built from the bottom up, the most gorgeous small resort like space. The beds were wonderful, the food was homemade and fabulous, and the view was just breathtaking. We are a bit spoiled and are used to a large sleeping space, so we would probably book a bungalow for next time, as our room (#2) was a bit small for us, we like to spread out a little more. This of course is a personal preference and I'm sure others would think the room was perfect for them. It was a lovely stay at an incredibly reasonable price, you really can't go wrong!
