THE MOST HONEST REVIEW YOU WILL READ!Firstly, I need to say that the communication between us and the owner, Mr Siboni was very good. Reading the past reviews on this apartment would put people off so I must reassure you that anything you may have read in past reviews that is negative is certainly not the case now. We were told exactly where the property is. Very easy to find as everyone on the resort knows the Lombarde apartments and the entrance is just underneath the Spot bar. You will need to climb the stairs as the chip key for the elevator is by the front door of the apartment or someone can chip you in to the lift. As you walk in the door marked "La Lombarde" straight ahead there is a door which goes left to the hotel Castillon and the door is white up to stairs. A little hidden round the corner to the left. Walk up 3 flights to level B. 2nd floor to B level and then flat B11 which has key lock. The apartment is cosy, well heated, hot water and has one of the best stocked kitchens I've stayed in, pictures below. Many utensils, cups, plates, glasses, raclette machine, fondue machine, microwave, hotplate, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, dishwasher and extra heater, which you will not need. Place to store skis in wardrobe and plenty of room for cases under double bed. Lots of duvets, pillows, blankets and you pay extra for sheets, towels and pillowcases which was €15 per person for the whole stay. Looks out onto ski slopes and everything is very close by walking distance, restaurants, supermarkets and straight to ski. The lady who brings laundry was very nice, only speaks french but took the money that evening. No stress at all. Ok, so no WiFi in the apartment but neither is there any of the slopes. My suggestion is to buy an eSim for €5 for 7 days or use the free WiFi in most bars or the main complex. I can't imagine what people want for the very reasonable price here?

Nothing!
Overall inadequate. On arrival I was unable to enter my accommodation as on the one hand there is no visible sign anywhere about the accommodation. Furthermore, the landlord's instructions on how to get to the accommodation were wrong. Nobody met me outside the accommodation. I had to take a lift to get to the accommodation, but I needed a chip, which of course I didn't have. Unfortunately, the landlord told me rubbish on the phone and tried to speak bad French to confuse me and laughed during that. I had to find random people to use the lift with me and take me to the floor where my flat was. There was a locker at the flat where I got the key to the flat. The landlord also told me that I should wait in the evening, 5 hours after official check-in time, someone comes round to clean the flat and explain me everything about that, as it hadn't been cleaned since the last tenants moved out. Furthermore, on two evenings, cigarette smoke from the neighbours drifted into the flat I was in through the walls of at least one neighbouring flat, so I had to breathe it in. Moreover, the day before I moved out, someone came by my flat to supposedly leave ‘a bag for transporting the bedding". I asked myself, is this a control visit or what?
All in all, I was really annoyed on my vacation, which shouldn't be the case - a big disappointment!

Wonderful location with very easy access to the slopes and shops. Small sunny balcony with view over the main slopes, with a table and chairs, and space to store skis. The apartment is well furnished with many additional items not normally found in a rental including fondue and raclette set, hairdryer, coffee machine and plenty of crockery and cutlery. there is a dishwasher and fridge, two ring hob and microwave, lots of pots and pans. The sleeping arrangements are for four people, with a sofa bed in the lounge area and a pull out twin by the kitchen area all in the same room.
As a family of four, with teenagers, we could have done with a little more space. The studio apartment is well suited to a couple or family with young children. The apartment is above the bars and shops and so could be noisy in the late evening.

The dishes and cups were mismatched and poor, but we were able to prepare and eat our meals OK.

NO WI-FI. The ad says refurbished, but aside from.new appliances and bathroom fixtures the rest of the unit looks 40 years old.

If you can't French language, don't get yourself in trouble.
Good space in balcony for riding equipment or sitting and enjoying sun.
Ask for extra elevator tag if you are more than 1 person in the apartment, as the elevator is only way to the slopes, at least if you don't want to go around whole building

Poor check in info. Very difficult to find the apartment and its staff for the first time, no ads or signs in the building. Staff does only speak French, so expect long conversation about e.g. deposit, with Google translate or via phone with their colleague with poor English skills and great French accent.
Expect the room to not be 100% clean and fixed, there could be broken lamps, kitchen doors and so on. Fuses goes when using hotplates and cooking water. A bit loud on weekend evenings and early nights, earplugs could be a solution.
