About this house rental
This is a 4 bedroom lake house right across from Schroon Lake. Walking distance to town and beach. Boat launch is just 3 minutes away. Only 1/2 hour from Gore mountain and 45 minutes from Lake Placid. Great place for snowmobiles. State trails are right behind house. Great for fishing or just hanging at beach. Lots of places to go for day trips. Fire pit in yard for night time get togethers and big front porch to relax on and read a good book

We have been staying here for years, and it’s a great place with plenty of space, comfortable living room and dining room, great fire pit and seating outside, and of course nothing better than a morning coffee on the front porch with the lake shimmering in the sun across the street. Walkable to town/bars/restaurants, the Lodge, or a very quick drive to town. Always a good time!

The property was a little dated on the outside, but rustic and homey on the inside. I had two concerns. We tried to use the double oven the first night and the oven kept shutting itself off. Made it very tough to cook stuffed shells. The other concern was that several windows had torn screens. Since the weather was relatively warm, we wanted the windows open. They had a nice firepit in the back, we enjoyed that. It was centrally located, and had several restaurant options. Most of the area was in walking distance.

We’re at a group of seven motorcycle riders. It was a perfect place for us to stay. Plenty of room in the driveway to turn the bikes around and the lot was flat in level. Would definitely return again.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house. The check-in process was seamless, which made settling in stress-free from the start. The decor in the living room and dining area was absolutely charming—warm, stylish, and thoughtfully put together. The entire space felt incredibly cozy, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind.Whether you're looking for a peaceful getaway or a scenic place to gather with loved ones, this home checks all the boxes. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay by the lake.
