Wonderful little oasis - family friendly

Wonderfully welcoming after a long drive, the hosts cooked us a lovely evening meal taken outside. The grounds are lovely and the black swan was a hit with the children. Nothing was too much bother. The pool is a very large hot tub but perfectly adequate for having a splash or cooling off. A beautiful spot! Charmingz

We had a delightful stay in this boutique hotel by a millpond. The room was delightfully decorated and comfortable. We especially liked the black swan.

So quiet and comfortable and an idyllic setting

Incredibly quiet and two wonderful hosts. We arrived late due to a 3 hour delay on Le Shuttle. We have stayed here before and loved it as much again

Quiet, rural location for this B&B.

Charming location by a small pond with swan and ducks. Very quiet and rural. Breakfast was basic. Coffee or chocolate, good bread with choice of jams. Ham and cheese, and egg available.

No hot water for a shower in the morning. The B&B was full (5 total rooms?), and only has one water heater. Early departing guests must have drained the hot water tank. The owner was very apologetic and gave us a discount on our room as recompense.

Madame was a great host and we were able to have an evening meal if we booked one in advance. This was very useful as the moulin is right out in the country. The breakfast and evening meal were very good, and the couple who host were keen to make everything as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. An oasis of calm. It is tricky to find though!

Lovely stay in a beautiful property

The property and the owners were lovely. Dinner was simple but tasty, the breakfast was delicious, and they catered to vegan/vegetarian diets. Our dog was very happy to have a big garden to play. It is the perfect place for a quiet getaway.

The breakfast was a very good continental breakfast. The evening meals are excellent as well. The location is out in the country and in a beautiful setting. It is very peaceful and relaxing. The proprietors are very friendly and helpful. The accomodation is very nice and comfortable. It is also well placed for visits to the Loire valley.

Beautiful location, very peaceful and lovely grounds. Super breakfast right next to the lake. Family room was exactly what we needed for the four of us and our puppy. The owners were lovely and waited up really late for us to arrive after our train crossing was delayed.

Fantastic peaceful rural location. Just the place to chill out and rejuvenate listening to birds singing and watching otters, fish and birds in the lake. Our room was delightful and the evening meal superb.

Don't follow Google maps to get there or you will end up in a field! Go to the village and it is signposted. This is not the place for those wanting lots of entertainment, bars or nightlife.
