The host was the most charming person I've met - very accommodating. There are some nice touches, like the umbrellas for guests to use. The location is quite central. The parking provided by the apartments is ideal. The apartment offers discounts for local attractions (no idea how to obtain them).

To be honest, we were disappointed with our 2-bedroomed apartment: * It was hot and there were no fans on offer (although to be fair we didn't ask, but it was a heatwave, the apartment's on the top floor - it's somewhat obvious they should be provided as par for the course) * One of the bedrooms is very close to the main road in which there is a hospital, meaning opening the window for some cool air in the evening/night/morning wasn't an option because of the noise * The same bedroom might be the larger bedroom, but I suspect it's for people who don't want to watch Netflix (make sure you have an account as the property doesn't provide free access) or YouTube, whereas the other bedroom is set up with these on the TV * Also, the larger bedroom has a bed which is in an alcove, so if you want a cup of tea in bed or to read, you have to get out of the bed to place the cup &/or book somewhere * The seating area in the kitchen is fixed to the wall and floor. If you are 4 adults, good luck trying to sit (never mind eat/play games) in the seats near the wall if you're taller than 85cm! * Our fault, but we didn't realise that the area for sitting and chilling is in the small bedroom (the one with Netflix) - there's no common seating area * There's no dishwasher. Fine, not a problem, but consider providing something to put the dishes on once they've been washed. There's no drying rack nor area next to/attached to the sink * As I said, it's quite central, but why no maps on offer? * There is a restaurant underneath the apartments which is undergoing renovations. This should have been communicated to us; it created a noise in the 'small' bedroom and somewhat upset our plans for dinner on the one evening we stayed.
