The Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula with probably the best bathing beaches in Germany is approx. 4 km away, the Hanseatic city of Stralsund is 50 km away. The 750-year-old Vineta town of Barth is only 2 km away and offers a large harbour and good shopping facilities.

In addition to a riding stable, Pruchten also offers a campsite with playground and restaurant, bakery, inn, ice cream shop, harbour and sports field and plenty of peace and quiet for relaxing in beautiful nature, not only in summer!

Location description : You can spend a beautiful and relaxing family holiday with lots of activities on the charming Baltic Sea coast of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and leave everyday life behind you. Pruchten has around 730 inhabitants and is located at the transition to the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula between the Barther Bodden and Barther Strom as well as the Bodstedter Bodden. Pruchten is therefore part of the Western Pomerania Bodden Landscape National Park. On cycle tours or hikes, you can breathe deeply in the healthy sea air and relax body and soul.
