Tignes Val Claret: Residence "Le Prariond" - excellent location: central but quiet, right by the Tignes and Val d'Isère slopes, ski in ski out. Residence "Le Borsat (Val Claret)", 7 storeys. In the centre, in a sunny position in the residential district, 20 m from the skiing area. In the complex: lift, storage room for skis, central heating system. Shop 50 m, supermarket 500 m, restaurant 50 m, bus stop 500 m, indoor swimming pool 2 km. Skisport facilities, slopes 20 m, ski rental 50 m, ski bus stop 200 m, ski school 150 m, children's ski school 20 m, sled run 150 m. Nearby attractions: centre aquatique Le Lagon 2 km, Centre Sportif Tignespace 2 km. Well-known ski regions can easily be reached: Espace Tignes Val D'isère 10 m. Hiking paths: Parc Naturel Régional de la Vanoise 250 m. Please note: groups of teenagers on request only. Ski bus (free of charge).

Fully renovated, very beautiful and tasteful furnishings: living/dining room with 1 pull-out bed (2 pers. 2 x 80 cm, length 190 cm), flat screen. Sleeping alcove with sliding door with 1 x 2 bunk beds (80 cm, length 190 cm). Open kitchen (dishwasher, 3 ceramic glass hob hotplates, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Nespresso) extra, combination microwave). Shower, sep. WC. Balcony, south facing position. Very beautiful panoramic view of the mountains and the ski run. Facilities: Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only. Large shower 120x80cm, separate cabin of the living room, private balcony - not vis à vis, pets not allowed. Instead of an enclosed bedroom, some sleeping areas are located in an open-plan area (gallery, alcove, etc.).

The property was lovely, very cute and cosy with a bunk bed (bed 1 and 2) and a sofa (bed 3) and then another mattress underneath the sofa which pulled out into the living space (bed 4). The cooking appliances and utensils were all clean and so were the mattresses, pillows and duvets. You have to pay extra for the bedding sheets/pillow cases etc but it gets put in the flat for when you arrive. Fantastic view out the window and you can just about see Cocoricos, the ski in ski out is fab too, only a tiny run down the the main three lifts in Tignes Val Claret.
If you fly and get a public transfer you get dropped off at the roundabout at the bottom of the resort which means its a good 15-20 minute walk to the apartment. You have to collect the keys from Interhome which is in the centre of the resort and return them at the end which is very inconvenient when you have a 5am transfer and it's sheet ice everywhere. Perhaps getting the keys from a key safe in the chalet would be easier? And then email the code to the building to avoid the extra hassle would be great.
Overall a great little apartment :)
