Property is in a beautiful woods location. While the rest of the state was boiling, this location was much cooler because of the altitude of over 4000 ft above sea level. It was a wonderful quiet getaway for our family. It was very clean and the hot tub was clean and running well. I highly recommend this rental for those times you need to get away.

Adorable, spacious cabin. It had everything we could have needed. Beautiful property. We saw lots of deer and even a bear.

This was an amazing home/cabin in the woods. Such a special weekend with the family making lasting memories. The sound of the creek right in the backyard, and we got to see bears on the drive up the mountain! I would absolutely come back and stay here again. Annie was a great host and very responsive. FYI - Google Maps is still saying NC 197 north is closed. It was open as of 5/31 when we got to the cabin and a very nice drive up to Burnsville.
