Welcome to our quiet, family-friendly 3-bedroom South Venice retreat. You're a couple minute walk from the South Lemon Bay Preserve, a 5-minute drive from Manasota Key Beach, and 15 minutes from downtown Venice — famously the "Shark Tooth Capital of the World." We keep a digging tool on hand so you can hunt for your own fossilized find.
THE SPACE
Master Suite: King bed, en-suite bathroom, two walk-in closets, a dedicated workspace, and a Smart 4K TV with Netflix and Roku. Direct access to the lanai.
Bedroom 2 & 3: Queen beds, nightstands, and generous closet space with hangers.
Kitchen: Fully stocked for real cooking — coffee maker, tea kettle, toaster, blender, and all the essentials. Filtered drinking water (reverse osmosis with remineralization) and ice trays in the freezer. Laundry closet right off the kitchen, stocked with Free & Clear detergent.
Family Room: Comfortable couch and a large Smart 4K TV with Roku.
Dining Room: A long table seating 8 with two extra chairs.
Bathrooms: Filtered shower water throughout. Each shower is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Bath towels, hand towels, and beach towels all provided.
Lanai: A glass table seating six, in sun or shade, plus a propane grill.
Garage: Beach chairs, umbrellas, and floaties ready to grab, plus two adult bicycles available on request.
GETTING AROUND
A car is recommended to make the most of the area. Manasota Key Beach is a 5-minute drive, and downtown Venice/Venice Beach is about 15 minutes. The South Lemon Bay Preserve is walkable right from the house — a great spot for a morning walk, and keep an eye out for turtles and other wildlife.
GUEST ACCESS
You'll have full access to the home, including the kitchen, all bedrooms and bathrooms, the family room, dining room, lanai, and garage (including the beach gear and bikes). The only areas not included are the owner's closet in the garage and the shed.
Check-in is self-service through a smart keypad lock at the front door — tap the keypad to wake it, enter your code, and press the check button to unlock. Full instructions are sent before arrival.
SAFETY DISCLOSURE
For your safety, this home has a camera built into the smart lock at the front entrance. It captures the exterior entryway only, does not monitor or record any interior or private spaces, and it does record audio.
GOOD TO KNOW
Parking: Please park in the driveway, which comfortably fits 4+ vehicles. The garage is used to store our bikes and beach gear, so we ask that you avoid parking there unless space is genuinely needed.
Grill: If you use the grill, please keep it at least 4 feet from the wall — too close can melt the lanai screening or discolor the walls. Please clean the grates and surfaces and turn off the propane tank after each use. We don't provide propane refills.
Quiet hours: This is a quiet residential neighborhood. We ask that noise stay low from 10pm to 8am out of respect for our neighbors.
Pets: Well-behaved, smaller pets are welcome with prior approval — please reach out before booking. Guests are responsible for any pet-related damage or extra cleaning.
Damages: Guests are responsible for any new damage or missing items during their stay.
We're not local, but we're responsive and hands-on — reach us anytime by message, text, call, or email, and we also have a trusted local team nearby if anything comes up during your stay.

Overall the home is in good shape, kitchen cupboards could use a good deep cleaning, definitely needs new kitchen tools/utensils, pots, pans, etc. Sofa, bar stools and futon should be updated, all look second hand. Great location to everything the area has to offer. Jason was great to work with.

Very nice home. Everything was just as described. The only negative was that there were no washcloths in the home. We went and purchased some of our own. The kitchen furnishing were a bit lacking, but I didn’t come to Florida to cook so I was very very pleased overall with the property. The communication was clear and as promised. I will certainly keep this property on my list of favorites for future travels.

Location has almost zero cell phone coverage so Wifi was important but none existed. Wifi is an important element in staying in places and this needs to be addressed. I really am not interested in hearing "you should have contacted me" as that is an excuse as we tried but hard to do with no cell coverage or Wifi! You should ensure the system is working before all ned check ins.
