We stayed in December and enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. Our 6 and 9 year olds loved the ability to swim in December. There are 2 buildings for this property. There is one on the canal and the other across the street directly on the gulf. I would suggest the building on the gulf as the view was amazing. However, it is of course more pricey. We took daily walks on the beach. My only complaint was that there was a sign in the bathroom letting us know towels on the floor would be exchanged, garbages emptied, and toilet paper/soaps replenished every 2nd day. However, nobody ever came. We ran out of toilet paper in one bathroom and luckily I had brought some dishwasher detergent with me. The rooms and property were very clean and updated. The balcony was a 10!The neighborhood is safe and we easily walked at night down the street to a friend's rental. John's Pass is a couple of miles down the road with a lot to do for kids and adults. Overall, we had a terrific stay!
