CASA DA CASADA VILLA RURAL - FOZ DO DOURO by LW

The location is beautiful, with a lovely view of the river, especially nice when sitting outside the house. Conveniently located, just about 30 minutes by car from Porto city center. A shared washing machine and dryer are available in a dedicated shed about 60 meters from the house, which is very practical.

Air conditioning is only available in the bedrooms, so the fifth guest using the sofa bed was less comfortable, as opening a window wasn’t ideal due to mosquitoes. The beds and pillows were not as comfortable as we had hoped, and the beds tended to make some noise when moving. Because restful sleep is important to us, we decided to shorten our stay to 4 nights instead of the 6 originally booked and moved to another place. Unfortunately, a refund was not possible, which was a bit disappointing.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr schön und genauso wie auf den Bildern. Die Nachbarn sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Der Pool liegt etwas vom Haus entfernt, aber er ist sehr sauber und die Anlage sehr gepflegt. Mit dem Auto ist Porto in 15 km erreichbar. Man ist auf ein Auto angewiesen. Es gibt um die Ecke ein kleines Café, wo man Brötchen zum Frühstücken bestellen kann. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Für 5 Personen etwas eng, für 4 Personen optimal.

Achebe grosse Zimmer und wohnzimmer. Gut eingerichtet und eine gemütliche Terrasse und aussicht. Parking gratis.

Etwas schwierig zu finden. Parkieren mit ein Mittel kleines Auto geht gut. Schwimmbad ist ab ca. 5 im schaten.

Beautiful rural place on the hill. Great view on the river. Porto is half an hour from the house. The only thing is the route and getting to the parking is a little bit tricky for unexperienced driver on big car. We had big Volvo but good drivers, so we managed. The parking itself is big enough to make U-turn. Mini market is near the gate. Cafe is nearby up on the road. All the facilities. We ejoyed. Gabriel is very helpful.
