The Edward Townhouses 155 & 157

The keys were in a lock box. The group I was with were staying across these 2 adjoining cottages. The hosts had left the gate / fence to the adjoining cottages open so we could see how we could all reach each others area without going via the front. The cottages were very comfortable for us 6 adults / 3 in each as we each had a bedroom. Each cottage had 3 bedrooms with a double bed in each. Lovely decor in the cottages that made it feel very welcoming. The cottages were very clean and beds comfortable. Parking was out the front on the street. The dining and sitting areas were suitable for all of us to share meals together or relax in the living area. The cottages outdoor spaces - one with an outdoor lounge and one with a large table and chairs - which we didn't use - was too chilly. Each cottage had a laundry with washer and dryer. The kitchens were well set up. 157 had a dining table with 6 chairs in the kitchen and 155 had a very large breakfast bench style dining table with 6 chairs around it. The cottages are walking distance into the centre and short driving distances to wineries. The air conditioning in the kitchen / living area worked well. Each room had a heater which came in handy just to warm the bedrooms up on the cooler nights. On arrival we found music softly playing through each cottage and the air con on so the place was nice and warm as we all arrived on a chilly afternoon.

Originally had booked for 7 people. In the description it sounded like there was a room with 2 singles. We didn't see this as all the beds were doubles.

The location of this property and ease of getting to town, which was minutes away, and the accomodation was perfect! The space, design, furniture and decoration of the two town houses were beyond expectations. This place is perfect for family, friends, couples, everyone. You have the ability to cook if you want, with all equipment, amazing inside or outside spaces to dine, and relax. We will return. Every aspect was amazing. The process of booking was easy, communication with staff was also everything we could ask for.

There was nothing we did not like.
