The property is wonderful. Connie and John have transformed the place into an idyllic location for a romantic getaway - something I would not have expected to find in Gainesville, TX. The common areas are warm and inviting (as are the Host and Hostess) and the room clean and comfortable. They have given a lot of thought to every aspect of one's stay. The breakfast dining area is charming and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional, prepared specifically to meet our preferences. Overall, we were made to feel right at home - and it is a beautiful home.
Two of the rooms share a bath - and we had one of those rooms. That's fine if you're sharing it with friends or family in adjoining rooms but otherwise can be a little awkward. Not a major inconvenience, just something to be aware of.
