Beautiful place and the view was spectacular. Very relaxing and private. We met the owner and he was quite nice and gave of several suggestions of things we might interested in . They left a wonderful gift basket full of yummy things to try.

The Llent uality fittings, magic wifi heating, magnificent goodies basket and site

Although self-catering, a perfect basket of goodies was provided, including eggs and home-made bread.

A very tiny thing for nocturnal visits to the bathrooom would be to have 2 lights for the bathroom rather than one bank of bright lights.

Awesome, special.. home.

Great view - awesome view. Comfortable living room, cozy bed, warm shower with good water pressure. Spotless. A lot of space. A wonderful kitchen with every necessary utensil. Super friendly reception with lots of tasteful and tasty treats: some whiskey, home-made bread and cake. Thank you very much for making such a nice place to stay!

Fantastic!

Wonderful location looking out over the bay and islands. Sheep wandering around, so peaceful! Lovely interior. Well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Modern bathroom with plenty of toiletries. Little terrace with fantastic view. Very warm welcome with little treats.

Nothing really. But maybe worth mentioning that it is a rather difficult drive on a narrow single track road to get to the house.

A brief two night stay, but we were afforded all the same luxuries and extras as longer term guests.

We were self catering, but the hosts provided enough extras that we would have managed well enough if we'd turned up empty handed. The hosts had thought of everything, and provided unexpected welcome gifts as well as the more usual toiletries and Scottish tablet, along with milk in the fridge, a variety of teas and sweeteners and a coffee machine with a set of coffee pods! There was a freshly baked loaf and fruit cake, fresh eggs,bottle of Prosecco and even a mini decanter of our 'usual' single malt...a wonderful touch. The hosts were available if needed...being right next door....and had provided very well equipped, beautifully accessorised accommodation with good quality in evidence everywhere. If we ever planned to revisit Skye, it would be a definite for a return visit.

Birthday Getaway

The lambing shed was cosy, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking your own meals and the nespresso machine and coffee is a lovely little extra luxury. Jo and Dek went above and beyond with the little extras they prepared and left for us on arrival as well as helping with some 40th birthday suprises for my husband. We even liked the Skye Candle company reed diffusers and stopped on the way home to buy some of the scents of the Lambing Shed to take home with us. The area is remote which added to the 'getaway from it all' feel and is exactly what we wanted. It was oddly relaxing watching the weather sweeping over Dunvegan Loch from the comfort of the sofa with a nice dram in hand. We would return without a second thought.

Better than home...with a stunning view!

Everything! The little touches from Jo with local whiskey, some cake, fresh bread and the fresh eggs from the hens...the views from the windows are stunning, the bed is super comfortable, I never slept so well in so long! We loved our stay and we cannot wait to come back very soon! Thank you so much for pampering us!

Am absolute gem of a place

Superb location and absolutely stunning views all around. The owners of this cottage have gone that extra mile to make your stay truly special, extras included, freshly baked bread, free range eggs from the owners chickens, chocolates, fruit cake, whiskey, bath robes and slippers. There is even an nespresso machine to make proper coffee. Excellent WiFi signal if that’s your thing. Without doubt the best self catering cottage we have ever stayed in. Lovely few days on beautiful Skye in fantastic accommodation!

The views from the property are beautiful and the lovely goodies which Jo had left for us made us feel very pampered.
