The perfect place by Lake Garda

We had an amazing stay at Hotel e Ristorante Cassone! The location is absolutely beautiful, in a stunning area just a couple of meters from the waterside. It’s conveniently close to a small shop and plenty of restaurants. The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful, always ready to answer any questions we had. We came to stay before our marathon and the staff prepared us a breakfast on-the-go since we would leave very early and miss the standard breakfast offered by the hotel. It was very kind and we appreciated it a lot. We truly enjoyed our time there and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful yet accessible getaway. Would definitely come back.

Love at first sight!

Place is beautifull, garden and whole scenery with small lake is something special! We really enjoyed our stay there. Our recommendation is to have a dinner in in house restaurant, food is wow!!! and hosts were on the top level. ☝️😎 We give 10/10 🫡 How would Arnie said: I'll be back!

Rooms can be a little bit modernized, furniture is weared but we didnt mind it at all. One look through the window and who cares about it. 🤣

I wish I had paid attention to the negative reviews on Booking and here, and book somewhere else instead of that place.

Terrible service, dirty rooms with spiders and spider webs and if you complain they will even stop talking to you and assist you in any way. Also, regarding parking spaces, there are a few but customers of the restaurant have priority! Finally, the WiFi only works in the reception area and not in the rooms. Do yourselves a favour and book some place else.

The location was wonderful! Proximity of the Garda Lake for this price is very satisfying :) Also, I liked that you cleaned our room everyday.ĺ

The same food everyday (breakfast) - but I understand that for this price I shouldn't expect more. Maybe just for a little bit higher price you could incorporate more variety in your breakfasts :)

Classic Lake Hotel, great location, nice staff, little tired.

Given our own apartment with good facilities including small kitchen. As we found in all accommodations on the trip, loo seat loose/faulty. Good breakfast, nice staff, fab location for the Lake

Hot water wasn't working when we arrived so had to request assistance. Have visited Cassone for many years but never stayed at the hotel before. Swinging into the hotel is a challenge if coming from the south.

Great authentic hotel

Everything, what a find. It's off the main road, somewhere to park and only 100mtrs from the shore at Lake Garda. A real grand hotel in it's day and full of charm. The staff were efficient, friendly and very accommodating. Fabulous restaurant and amazing food. Definitely would love to return some day

A decent hotel in a convenient location, fair value for money.

The location is nice, especially if you are travelling by car. It's only a short drive to Malcesine - a very picturesque village. The hotel is situated right at the side of the trunk road, so you will not have to drive through narrow and steep streets) It's also just 5 minutes walking to the lake shore, restaurants and the beach. There is also a bus stop across the street, so you can also use public transport to get to other villages. We also enjoyed the big balcony overlooking the lake! The restaurant has got a cozy atmosphere and most of the dishes were delicious.

Because we were travelling with dogs and during a very hot period (up to 38 degrees), we wanted a room with a proper air-conditioning, which was a bit of a disappointment, as it wasn't a very powerful one. The temperature in the room was acceptible, but it was a bit stuffy with the balcony door closed. There is also no switch in the room, so you will have to ask sb at the reception to turn it on for you, but they always did, so that was covered)

Really disappointing. Should have been better.

Good location

The hotel hosted a wedding downstairs when the noise didn’t stop till 0130am. I felt staff neglected the other guests and probably shouldn’t have accepted bookings beyond the wedding group. Air conditioning was almost non existent and half of the power plugs didn’t work in our room. I felt like we were an inconvenience to the hote owners. It’s a bit poor feeling like you can’t come back to your room after midnight on a Monday because there is a huge party outside.

Excellent value for money in a beautiful setting.

The staff at Hotel Cassone are second to none. Attentive, efficient and helpful, both in the restaurant and the hotel. Tiffany spent much time with us when we had a small incident with our car, ensureing that a locksmith attended in half an hour and locating a mechanic for us who got us on the road immediately, even though he had a garage full of work on a Saturday morning. The restaurant food is excellent, the location is unbeatable. The airconditioning worked (had to be switched on at reception by request) and was quiet enough for us to get a good nights sleep. The room and hotel facilities were pretty basic but as described and as expected and to be honest we could not expect more for the fantastic price we paid for a room on Lake Garda. A swim in the lake before breakfast is a must. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty to choose from and endless coffee if required. If you are only staying for one night be sure to book a table at the restaurant prior to arrival as it is very popular. The private car park is an added bonus but arrive before 6pm if you want a spot as after that it fills up with restaurant visitors. For a value for money, beautifully located stay we cannot recommend this enough.

The room and Hotel were very clean. Perfect location in front of a beautiful small “lake” next to the most important towns and even a good view of the Garda Lake. The staff was always friendly.

The restaurant in the hotel is the best in the area. Nice beach just in 2 minutes. The best tennis courts just in 5 minutes. Good place to stay around Malcesine.

Disappointed

There was no staff to be found at all during the morning. Waited for staff to be around to check-in in the evening also. There was no hot water for neither of us to shower in the night and no hot water in the morning either. So we were unable to wash. Not what you’d expect in a hotel which wasn’t cheap for the night. Sent them a message also, and not even a reply to apologies. They didn’t have breakfast on site either.

Direkte Lage an der Haupstraße war noch passabel, das Wasserplätschern vom davor laufenden Flüsslein war dann doch lauter und Abends kann es dann auch mal durch die Restaurantgäste lautstark werden. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und gut... Die Zimmertemperatur ist recht niedrig, da die Heizung selten im Betrieb ist, eben nur an besonders kalten Tagen. Die Parkplatzsituation ist beengt und gut besetzt da auch die Restaurantgäste diese nutzen. Wenn man spät ankommt, wird es schon mal eng.

Zimmertemperatur, Heizung ging nur sporadisch im Bad mal Abends. Warm wurde es dadurch nicht.

Lokalizacja jest wspaniała! Obsługa również bardzo bardzo miła. Możliwe zjedzenie posiłku w restauracji. Do tego śniadanie, które jest standardowych warunków - wystarczająco na krótki pobyt. Pies również był mile widziany.

dodałbym po butelce wody w pokoju. Po długiej podróży i braku sklepu w okolicy może tego brakować.

Super lokalizacja, ale higiena do poprawy

Lokalizacja nad tamą i jezioro Garda tuż po przejściu przez ulicę.

Pokój wymagał porządnego odkurzenia, wszędzie było dużo włosów i każde w innym kolorze, na podłodze i w łazience. Nawet z słuchawki prysznicowej wystawały siwe włosy. W łazience również zastaliśmy przybory kosmetyczne po poprzednich lokatorach, niewyrzucone papierki po mydle, rozpakowany czepek kąpielowy. Na szczęście pościel była czysta. Szkoda że takie drobiazgi niszczą ogólne wrażenie. Za to śniadanie pyszne i podane w czystych warunkach.

Отель прямо на горной речке. Тихо, чисто, спокойно. Сразу же перед отелем остановка, а через узкую дорогу озеро Гарда, в которое втекает эта речушка. Прекрасный вид из окна, обычный, но вкусный завтрак.
