Coral Bay Villas - Lionfish Suite

There was nothing about this property that we didn’t like.

The property is small with six apartments. The staff was very communicative and helpful. It’s nice spot with everything you need and easy walking to downtown San Pedro and a nice beach bar with live music and food right next door. There are ample restaurants, bars, coffee shops and a super market within minutes.

It was difficult to find information about the housekeeping services until later so just ask when you are there. They do have housekeeping for a fee. They were able to provide us with a change of towels when needed.

The location was great. Just south of town with the perfect length for a walk to build the appetite! Nice pool kept clean, and plenty of sun and shade. The staff, Freddie and Crusita were fantastic. Very helpful and friendly. The property manager Simon was also attentive to some slight adjacent property issues, which were frankly beyond his control, yet he did a stand up job dealing with it. The unit was dated but well equipped. Frankly one of the better equipped kitchens we have experienced (and we do over 12+ rentals a year).

Please fix the safes. We could not close the door of the kitchen safe for most of our stay. Freddy sanded it for us which worked for 2 days then it was swollen again and would not close (wood door and moist environment?). Also the bedroom dresser drawer "safe" never did work. This is picky and am almost embarassed to post...Do suggest new plastic glasses as several tumblers were cracked and leaked from the bottom. Also perhaps salt and pepper containers that didn't require either using a spoon to get some spice or !gasp fingers! who knows how many guests just used their fingers to get a pinch! Lidded shakers are an awesome invention.

Clean, comfortable, short walk into town either on the beach or on the street/sidewalk. Miriam was super helpful in getting us a golf cart. Loved waking up and watching the sunrise from our patio.
