Didnt stay

The place looked nothing like the images. there were mattresses against the wall of the room etc. We didnt end up staying there and were charged for the full night.

Leaving the place

The light switch for the room was inside the bathroom. The bathroom was so small that the shower door knocked against the toilet pot. There is no motor on the sliding gate or key for the house door. The TV didn't work. The QR code for the WiFi was also not working.

No hot water to shower. The handle and lock on the door is broken. Bedding never changed. Breakfast was never served but advertised as a bed & breakfast. Self-catering- fridge always off, microwave off. Poorly managed.

The location was ok and the staff were friendly. It was clean.

Bed was uncomfortable. There was only 1 tiny window. We arrived back from dinner during loadshedding and there was not a single light to help us get to our room. Parking is not ideal - we were woken up at 05h45 to move our vehicle.

I appreciate the fact that the owner was willing to accept us after hours.

The bread was fresh although the breakfast only included 3 food item. The margarine expired and it had mould in it. The kitchen staff should have checked it's expiry date before offering it to us. It was dissappointing and unhealthy.

The breakfast needs improvement. The manager and the lady whom assisted him were friendly and accommodating, even though we checked in late.

The property clearly wasn't designed to be a guest house

The breakfast was great and the staff very helpfull and accommodating.

There isn't proper parking available - all guests have to park behind each other so to go anywhere you always have to get someone to move their car. We had to ask for a remote control for the gate. The rooms have been resently added or revamped as guest rooms, so the electrical fittings weren't finished; there is no soundproofing between the rooms and the bathroom that was added to make it on-suite is extremely tiny and uncomfortable.

It was nice and quiet as I needed that quiet time,so I managed to get the rest I wanted and the staff didn't bother with anything.

Needed to warm food but the microwave was broken and the staff don't check up their guests to see If they need anything.

I cud rest as I wasnt well but the Bed are done, we were moved to another room but the Bed not good!

There were No breakfast-was cringing inwardly, very disappointed. I was just watching the actions. there was No working microwave, there are many even of cheaper quality on market .. We're No TV in room, shared TV in lounge which I eventually used. The host is nice but one cannot make excuses for state of things & expect people to 'understand'...must get value for money. I wS sorry I didn't opt for another B+B breakfast included

Disappointing

House needs some TLC.. makeover..

Sharing bathroom, geyser being turned off thus no hot water, wall plug in bedroom cuts out when boiling water but used wall plug in passage. Staff though very friendly helpful and nice. We rather stay in spaces as this to helping people with private accommodation than supporting big hotels. We were only there at night so it was okay. Very basic. Very clean. Almost backpackers style. We will definitely come back one day for sure.
