Good location close to main attractions, ferry port and restaurants . Good sized terraces with ability to get hours of direct sunlight. Lower terrace with sun beds is good for use in sunny days.
Charming property with loads of classical features.
Towels were a bit rough and not in keeping with the standard of the property. They were old and rough, some frayed and torn along edges
Be prepared to get your step count up as access between bedrooms takes some time.
All rooms were cold initially and as they gave high ceilings they took a considerable amount of time to heat up. There were a couple of electric radiators which we needed to heat the bedrooms but there are not rads in all rooms
The aircon in the main living room was blowing cold air and non responsive as the batteries were flat- eventually swapped out with one of the tv remotes to get it to stop
Could not figure out how to work cooker - timer light was constantly flashing and there were no instructions
Access to the two terrace areas is only possible via the top bedroom which would be inconvenient if it was a mixed party of guests/ friends
Two of the bedrooms do not have any aircon
The soap dispensers in the bathrooms work well but look cheap and are out of keeping with the property
There are two small hot water tanks which provide enough hot water for a couple of showers but they do not provide enough hot water to have a bath in - half a bath or less
There was a power outage during my stay- whilst using 2 electric radiators and 3 aircon units and lights. As we were only using 2 bedrooms I would be worried about more guests adding extra load
Upper bedroom and terrace
The terraces and upper bedroom are only accessible via a narrow spiral staircase which has no emergency lighting
