the location, the common room and bed was comfortable!

locker size was small but not a major issue

I loved the convenience for location and the clearness of property. Additionally, I like the design of interiors. It is much favorable for women.

I didn’t like anything particular.

The hotel is just a 3-minute walk from Matsue Station. The reception area is on the second floor; if you have large luggage, there is an elevator on the ground floor/parking area. At the reception area is an amenities bar (face mask, lotion, facial wash, toner, bath sponge, razor, comb, small snacks, tea, coffee, etc), and a refrigerator with drinks (one free drink per day: bottled tea, juice, beer, or water). The staff can speak English. There is a common area with a microwave, tables and chairs. Coin washing machines (3) and dryers (2) are available on the ground floor (parking area). Luggage storage is available. Rooms are accessed by lift and keycard. We stayed in the female dorm where there are 40 beds, 4 shower rooms (with shampoo, conditioner, bath soap), 4 toilets, 5 sinks, several dressing tables (with lotion and other beauty products, facial tissue, dryer). The dorm also has a common area with a shelf of books, couches, microwave, water dispenser. The capsule is clean and comfortable. Each capsule is assigned a locker (accessed by same keycard you would access the dorm room). In the locker is a pair of slippers, 3 hangers, and a bag with pajamas, bath towel, face towel, and toothbrush. A new set (pajamas, two towels, toothbrush) is provided every day. The capsule has a shade for privacy, a hanger, power socket, USB socket, small safe, alarm clock, lights.

You have to cross an open air walkway to get to the other building where the rooms are. This isn't really a problem except when it's very cold and you are already in your sleeping clothes but need to go to reception or laundry area. Luggage are to be left in the designated area near the lockers, but the luggage area is limited; only one person at a time can open their luggage in that area. The two rows of lockers in the back are also very close to each other; if someone is accessing their locker right across yours, you will have to wait for them to finish/leave before you can access yours. If the dorm is full, the shower rooms can get busy.

The facilities were fantastic and everything was laid out really well and very clean. All the amenities provided was great – shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face wash, moisturiser etc. etc. The cubicle itself was a lot more roomy than I'd imagined it would be.

The mattress was SO hard! I had to fold my duvet up and use it as an extra mattress. But it was so hot in the cubicle I didn't need the duvet anyway. There's a supposed fan in there but that did nothing. It was incredibly stuffy and I slept really badly.
