Nice & calm apartment in a setting that's ideal for slowing down your hectic life.

It's in a calm street on the outskirts of Munstermainfell. There is a bus stop right in front of the parking lot, so also accessible by public transport. Outside had plenty of space to wander around and you can enjoy the evening watching the horses being trained from your terrace. Note that this is a working horse farm, so there is a bit of activity going on (riding lessons, repairing fences, driving with a farm forklift, etc.), which is great for the kids to watch. The neighbors have a donkey and there is a peacock wandering around in the area. Those dastardly animals can make noise. You don't go to the country side for the complete quietness. And of course, there are some flies buzzing around. It was cool inside the duplex apartment (even with temperatures above 30 degrees in July/August). Very clean, lots of amenities such as an oven, microwave, fridge (without freezer section) & dishwasher (OMG!). Sheets and plenty of towels, so you don’t need to haul that stuff with you. As well as cleaning products etc. Others: - Smart television, so you can connect to your Netflix, you-tube etc. - Some public areas on the domaine (pit fire, bbq, game room) The people were very friendly. One of the owners has some decent knowledge of English, which was a huge plus for me as “Ich spreche kein Deutsch” Location: 2 kms away from a public swimming pool (there are 2 others, about 15 en 25 min away by car), burg Eltz is nearby, Cochem about 25 min away. There is also a water playground about 15 min away (Mertloch) and a Lidl & Norma 2 kms away. So ideal location to go there with dogs and/or kids (or on your own) and for small excursions or hiking near burg Eltz. You don’t have the overcrowding tourism of the Moselle area, but are still very close to it. The price is very reasonable.

No little freezer in the fridge, but that was really a minor issue.

Super weekend gehad!

De paardjes waren super lief, die kon je aaien. Het appartement was heel fijn en netjes. De omgeving is heel mooi, en de eigenaars zijn super aardig.

Dat de buren steeds langs onze deur moesten, en die keken steeds naar binnen. Heb toen de gordijn maar dicht gedaan, zou beter zijn als die een eigen trapje hebben. Verder helemaal geen klachten, en zou ik zeker weer eens boeken

Abgelegen, romantisch für Ausflügler und Menschen die Ruhe suchen

Abgeschiedenheit auf dem Reiterhof und doch zentral gelegen, wenn man ein Auto hat Großes „Spielzimmer“ auf dem Hof mit Tischkicker, Billard, Dart etc.

Bett war uns etwas zu klein und wenig Licht durch die Oberlichter
