Lovely old property, well appointed rooms and friendly staff. Grounds well maintained, plenty of outdoor seating and great pool looking over the river where you can watch the sun set. 9 hole golf course available at no extra charge and clubs and balls available to borrow and a fully stocked gym.
Need to be organised and either eat out or buy food at the supermarket. There is a list of local restaurants who deliver. It’s more a B&B than a hotel in that regard. Shame about the large electricity pylon in the garden - a bit of a blot on the landscape.

Lage und die Anlage mit Pool
Das Gebäude besitzt viel Charme, wurde jedoch in den letzten Jahren nur unzureichend unterhalten (z. B. verkalkte Wasserhähne sowie Kalkablagerungen und Verfärbungen an Duschwänden und Böden). Das Frühstück war sehr minimalistisch. Schade um dieses schöne Gebäude in hervorragender Lage – dadurch ist es die Preiskategorie nicht mehr wert.
