The location is great for exploring the ruins at Pompeii and Herculaneum, and it is very easy to get into Naples as it is a stone throw away from the train station. The Kitchen is well equipped and there is good aircon. The Bathroom is small and quirky but still good, I am 6ft and just fit in the shower.
More of a need to know then didn't like. It is 2 bed but one of the beds is a sofa bed in the entrance/living room. This is fine as there is another entrance to the main bedroom
Host was great and recommended some good restaurants.
Again more of a need to know. The property below the road side so it quite noisy even with the doors and windows shut. I didn't find to bad, but it is more of a heads up. Not much going on in the town but there so decent places to eat and the get supplies

The central location (5 min walk to the train station, not much more to the archeological site of Ercolano). Well furnished kitchen to eat in the appartment. Friendly and arranging staff. Big, spacious appartment and large bed. Cool even in the summer.
The staff only speaks italian. The furniture of the appartment is not in a perfect state, (for instance the wc flush does not work properly) The shower is pretty simple. The environment is a bit noisy.

The location is perfect, it's just the main benefit. 2 minutes to Ercolano train station, so you can go both ways - to Sorrento and to Naples. 2 minutes to Vesuvio express, from where the bus takes you to Vesuvio and back. 7 minutes walk to Ercolano Scavi - the ruins, so if you don't like to go to Pompei, you can visit Ercolano ruins. Local shops aroun, pizza, ice cream, everything what you need. You can go to Pompei by train, the way to Sorrento, also takes little time. Apartments are very clean, you have all what you need - dishes, tea, coffee, sugar, croissants, Nutella, jam, juice, TV, fridge, hairdryer, iron. You have your own entrance and a little terrace.
Everything was very fine, except that there is really cold and wet inside the apartment. It's a pleasure that the owner is ready to help and to solve any issue, thank you so much. I just advise you to buy electrical heater, not gas, probably will be better.
