Exceptional
The chalet was fantastic. The living space was lovely and more than enough for the people accommodated, and the rooms were all great as well. The sauna and hot tub were both easy to use and together with the living space made the chalet lovely to spend time in. The location was perfect for what we had wanted. Getting to the ski lift was a 2 minute walk and the lift never had any queue. There were two bars closeby for both relaxed and more party focussed vibes which were great fun, but also both closed early so it never felt disruptive in the evening.
There was no shop in the village directly which meant being organised for food, however, Sherpa deliver groceries so with planning it wasn't an issue.

A lovely fun family ski holiday
Very cute furnishing and decor. Good linen. Nice shared areas. Great bathrooms. Excellent hot tub outside. Good kitchen. Good location near ski lift and ski hire shops. Helpful responsive hosts.
Noisy from nearby bar in the afternoons/early evening. Some areas cramped or limited headroom. No proper ski locker /boot room.

Very noisy being next to the road which was busy from 05.30 in the morning- did not expect this Also the bar opposite was very loud until 19.00 ( not a major issue) Mice in the kitchen ( we caught 3!) Lack of snow clearance creating dangerous access Boot room didn't work Fire 🔥 didn't work for us Kitchen facilities were a little disappointing/ adequate for a chalet for 14. The property lacked maintenance

Superb
Fabulous location directly opposite the ardent bubble, with ski hire and a small bar also directly opposite. Well appointed chalet. Thoughtfully decorated and very warm and comfortable. Well equipped. Hot tub and sauna were lovely after a days skiing (with bath robes provided) and plenty of space for the kids to sledge, climb and build igloos! Laura from mont amor was very responsive and helpful re all queries including ski hire and ski passes. And Verónica provided lovely massages in the spa below. Great house for a group or few families. We had a fantastic week skiing.
There are no grocery stores in the hamlet so you need a car or to arrange delivery of groceries which Laura can help with. Not a major issue but you need to be organised for that. The music from the bar stops fairly early save for one night where it goes on after 8pm but it stopped by 9pm. Some of the beds are a little compact if you are very tall!
