I have booked "The Fern Samali Resort Dapoli, Series by Marriott" for 2 days for my parents aged 75 years. on first day the room provided was not having any functional facilities, TV needed a change 3 times during day, no bucket/mug provided, no towels provided, no other accessories provided. on complaining about it, facilities team changed the room on next day. I raised this question to service team the answer was "we sincerely apologies for the inconvenience, due to room maintains and services, this trouble had caused". My question to Marriott when some one pays you upfront and does the booking why you have provided sub standard room to the guests? are we paying you to listen apologies which is of no meaning unless there is some monitory/discount you offering from your side. otherwise it looks like we are paying double amount than other hotels to listen to apologies only. have you hired few people to listen and apologies only? it looks like that. in 2 days of stay for elderly people how inconvenient it is to change the room on second day? they had to pack the bags again, to reopen it again. I had booked your "resort" so that they wanted to relax and enjoy rains, not to feel inconvenient.

The property wasn't maintained very well. The pool was not used for a long time. There were no lights around the pool. Only the restaurant and the road to the restaurant are used. Not a place one can come to without one's own vehicle. It is in the middle of nowhere, quite secluded.
the place has a nice charm to it but it needs to add a little more activities .

Resort is well maintained, staff is polite , food tastes great. Location is good although not near to beach.
