NEW 2BR Minica Villa in the heart of Kayu Aya, Oberoi, Seminyak walking distance to Beach, Shops, Restaurants

The location, cleanliness, helpful staff

Right after booking the villa, there was very convenient communication Mr. Junos, the caretaker was super friendly, responsive and helpful before our arrival and upon our arrival He made sure of little things like welcome juice, fresh watermelon (seems usual but airbnb private villas usually do not serve that...he did it keeping our time of arrival in the night).. also added a couple of items keeping in mind our religious and cultural needs which was very thoughtful of him He was always on time for villa cleaning and kept connected on whatsapp all through our stay. He went out of the way to help us retrieve an item exchanged with a passenger at the airport He was so considerate that he didn't ask us to pay at the time of check-in due to our concern for the lost item, night time and us traveling a long time. We paid the next day after we were freshened up and that was a great gesture. Helped us with out baggage as well Now coming to the villa. The villa is much much better than what it shows in the pictures. It was more comfy and luxurious (in its own way) than expected. The villa is adorned with cultural references here and there to give it a good vibe. The items of facilities were probably much more than a regular household would have. Right from the laundry washer/proper stove, all kinds of cooking utensils and gadgets,cutlery, crockery, first aid box, plastic bags, toolkit, tapes, room freshners, mosquito repellent, iron and the list goes on. We didn't getbto use any of these things though :) but it gives credibility to the villa being family friendly or people living for long term The TV, Bluetooth speaker, DVD player with DVDs and so many books and magazines were a added bonus...didn't get to use any of this either :) thanks to Seminyak being such a place that you hardly wanna stay indoors Coming to location, this place couldn't have been at a better location.

The overall aura of the bathrooms could have been better. I guess it's not the daily cleaning issue but overall one touch of paint/polish or whatever it is can do wonders The AC in the lounge was not ideally working, though we didn't use the lounge much and it wasn't too hot The shampoo and bodywash could have been better too These are very small things that I am nitpicking... all these things were not bad but could have been better

Great location off the main Street in Seminyak and still quiet. Plenty of room for the whole family. Host Jono was very helpful.

The kitchen although functional could do with a little renovation

The man who met us on arrival was very helpful and friendly. Very central and the pool was nice.

The massive amount of mosquitos, the two rates which we noticed running through the villa at night but could not find where they were hiding, they were eventually caught in the outside rat trap. The next door gate was very noisy when being opened and closed most hours of the night with motorbikes constantly going in and out. The fact we had to pay for additional car parking every night and this was not provided.
