Cozy heartwarming stay with the Huber family

Very clean, very spacious apartment and well equipped for cooking (oven, dishwasher, toaster and much more). Besides extreme cleanliness there were also small details that made the space more cozy. Also we got more surprises - like a welcome homemade jam, and a happy new year gift. It is very obvious that this family loves hosting and pours all their heart in it. The sauna was an absolute cherry on top - I got to use it privately and the whole experience was really magical. Also all the skiplaces are max half an hour away and there is a lot of choice.

We really enjoyed a chat with the hosts and were amazed by their kindness:-) Cosy, warm and spotless clean apartment , fully equipped to prepare meal for the family. Kids loved the table tennis room, my husband loved the sauna ❤️ Great location close to BadKleinkirchheim and St Oswald ski slopes- 15min by car. Nice view from the balcony:-) Thank you for letting us have a great stay!

Exceptional

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in the pension. We were greeted by a warm, smiling Michaela, who was always ready to help us with anything. It is obvious that this is her life and she has been connected with this beautiful house since her youth when she helped her parents. She spoke English with beautiful fluency and clarity. She gave us many tips and thanks to them we enjoyed skiing in a different resort than we had originally intended. The room was perfectly prepared, clean and spacious. After skiing we appreciated the opportunity to play ping pong and especially the amazing sauna, which we used once every two days. Unfortunately the snow outside was frozen over and we couldn't jump in after the sauna. I tried, but I screwed up :) Luckily there was a shower with really icy water by the sauna and an amazing relaxation room. The distance to the ski resorts was shorter than it seemed at first glance. We got to Bad Kleinkirchheim in 11 minutes, Turracher Höhe in 17. I would recommend the guesthouse to people who are looking for complete peace from the hustle and bustle of the big resorts and want to enjoy the beauty of an old building with modern amenities and have a proper rest. It is amazing that a guesthouse like this survived the Covid years. We wish only the best for Michaela and her husband in the future.

Fantastic hospitality and a great apartment.

The apartment is conveniently located in a small village between Villach and Klagenfurt and just a stone's throw away from Italy. There are 3 skiing centres in the vicinity. It is also a perfect base for exploring picturesque Carinthia. The apartment is spacious, very clean and well-equipped. However, the biggest asset is kind and guest-centered owners, discreet but always there for you. Thank you for your sincerity, kindness and hospitality and for inviting us to your home on the New Year's Eve.

A car is a must. As for the apartment, I just lacked a normal-sized kettle.

Michaela is an extremely kind host. The apartment is super comfortable (separate toilet and bathroom, rooms have reasonable sizes) and very well equipped. Both the pension and the surroundings are very quiet and peaceful. We should return one day!

Everything was perfect. Michaela is a very kind and attentive host, she did everything to make us feel at home. And the location is fabulous, it's one of the most beautiful places I've ever been, and a good starting point to visit all the sights of Carinthia. It's a pity we couldn't stay longer.

Just a minor comment/suggestion: perhaps a mosquito net on the bathroom window would be nice.

Good place in a beautiful area

The Landlady is extremely nice, the landscape is just beautiful, and the journey to the ski lanes of Bad Kleinkirchheim takes about 12 mins by car. The breakfast is awesome and you can find the very local products.

The kindest hosts of Austria in this lovely pension

Wonderful hosts in this friendly pension. Very comfortable rooms, quite, nice surrounding. Excellent skiing resorts of Turracher Hühe at a 20-25 minute drive, other skiing resort and nice spas in Bad Kleinkirchheim at less than 15 minutes drive. We really enjoyes staying here and would return anytime, especially in summer.

Predivan obiteljski boravak u izuzetno čistom i ugodnom smještaju uz odlične domaćine i sadržaje.

Imali smo predivan 6-dnevni obiteljski boravak na skijanju. Smještaj je iznimno čist, topao i ugodan, s puno pažnje posvećene detaljima. Michaela i Hubert su fantastični domaćini – srdačni, susretljivi i uvijek nasmijani. Posebno bismo istaknuli igraonicu za djecu i bogat izbor igara, kao i saunu koja je bila savršena za opuštanje nakon skijanja. Tijekom cijelog boravka osjećali smo se kao kod kuće. Definitivno se vraćamo!

Gemütliche Unterkunft mit toller Lage und perfekter Ausstattung

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Familienurlaub in der Pension Sonnleiten bei Familie Huber. Die Unterkunft liegt idyllisch am Hang mit herrlichem Blick auf den gegenüberliegenden Berg. Von hier aus lassen sich zahlreiche Ausflugsziele und touristische Attraktionen in maximal 30 Minuten erreichen. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich und bestens ausgestattet: eine voll ausgestattete Küche, ein einladender Wohnraum, zwei große Schlafzimmer, ein modernes Badezimmer sowie eine separate Toilette. Besonders gefallen hat uns der großzügige Balkon mit toller Aussicht. Für Kinder ist sowohl drinnen als auch draußen viel geboten: ein liebevoll eingerichtetes Spielzimmer für Regentage, eine Tischtennisplatte, Schaukel, Rutsche, verschiedene Tiere und eine große Wiese zum Fußballspielen. Die Gastgeber, Familie Huber, sind ausgesprochen freundlich, hilfsbereit und geben wertvolle Tipps für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung. Alles in allem ein rundum gelungener Familienurlaub – wir kommen gerne wieder!
