Delicious breakfast and dinner with free refills of rice, miso, and drinks.
Sometimes the shower got very hot randomly and no air conditioning in the lobby.

I liked that it was authentic and run by real people. When we got there the chef showed us our room unbothered that we arrived before checkin time. We only stayed one night but in the morning we had a very authentic breakfast then the chef waved us goodbye as we left for the train station. All in all we loved getting such an authentic experience where the staff were all so lovely and willing to help

Toyofuku is located close to attractions my partner and me wanted to visit: Motomachi, Kobe Port and Sorakuen Garden. Situation between two main train lines yet in a quiet neighbourhood. It was only for a night but we had a good rest in a tatami room with expansive space.
