Clean, compact and suited my needs for the short stay. The location 10, with beautiful gardens and relaxed atmosphere.

We have stayed in many of the river facing hotels over the years but the garden within happy Caretta is the difference between them as it is beautiful and very relaxing.
Very surprised not to have tea /coffee making facilities within the room but the staff did leave a thermos flask with hot water so we were able to make tea late in the evening but not early morning.and no restaurants open before 8am so bring your own kettle if you like an early cuppa.
