About this apartment rental

Very quiet 26 m2 studio in an old Paris building with two paved yards, far from the street.
The flat is located in a second yard, which is one level above the street; this supposes to go up 15 steps.
There is a small kitchen, which can be closed, and a small bathroom.
Many cupboards.
A double bed is offered, which can be completed by a single bed, usually used as a sofa, for a child for instance.
In summertime, this flat is quite pleasant as a private and flowered 12 m2 terrace allows you to have a meal outside.
It is located close to all shops and public transport(underground and bus connected to Bastille and the centre of Paris, Velib bicycle station).
We can eventually leave our car park if you need it, which is 5' walk away.
Pleasant neighbourhood.
This flat is located half way between Nation and Pere Lachaise.

We had an incredible time staying here. It’s such a perfect little space hidden away through a set of courtyards making it very quiet and serene.The space itself is tastefully furnished and has a really nice vibe. The bed was firm and very comfortable.We found the location perfect, as we wanted to stay somewhere slightly removed from the bustle but still with easy access to the metro. The local vicinity has much to offer though, with the incredible Père La-Chaise cemetery just a couple of hundred metres away. It’s also a good base to walk down through the 19th and 11th Arrondissements. Being slightly removed from central Paris we noticed the prices of local goods were cheaper ie pâtisseries, boulangeries, épiceries etc. and there were some great recommendations from Véronique provided.Véronique was a very responsive host and the check in process was super easy.We would absolutely come back to stay again.

My friend and I were visiting Paris for the weekend and had a lovely time here. The studio is small and nothing fancy but we were out most of the time and the study was a cozy and affordable place to sleep. Véronique was also very nice and easily accessible.

The appartment suited our needs perfectly. It was hidden away and allowed us to retreat at the end of a busy day. Véronique was really welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful with her instuctions and advice about the area. We would recommend the property. it suited our tastes and needs well. There were basics in the kitchen and shower which were to be replaced as used which is a welcome addition when travelling light. Although we didn't use the outside space we would have done had we stayed longer.

Véronique has a nice little flat in a really convenient part of Paris. With the metro being just around the corner, you are 20 minutes away from the majority of famous city attractions. Also, you are 5 minutes away from one of the most famous graveyards in the world. Véronique was quick to communicate with and was always available. The flat is very quiet and private. We loved our time in Paris!

First off, we had the opportunity to meet and talk with the owner. She lives next door and is a lovely lady who speaks excellent English. She was responsive and helpful. Additionally, the studio is quite close to the metro station, giving you easy access to most of Paris. All that said, we would probably not choose to stay here again. Most sights were 40 or more minutes away by metro. The area was much more urban than we had anticipated. We never felt unsafe there and there are great bakeries and restaurants nearby, but it wasn’t an attractive area of Paris. The studio was very hot. There is no air conditioning, and no way to open a window. I often smelled a powerful musty smell (similar to a damp basement) when walking into the apartment. The listing states a spa / hot tub? We did not see this at all. There is no tub - only a shower.

I stayed in Véronique’s flat by myself for 4 days. I wish it could have been longer. All day I had the radio on, reading and drawing. The flat is bright and warmly lit with a private terrace. It is located close to Père-Lachaise cemetery (the best club in Paris) as well as many cafes and bars - and the metro right next door so easy to get anywhere. Véronique is so sweet and welcoming. Recommend !

The place is small and romantic and really feels like a home. The street has everything you need. Since the place is away from the street it is very quiet. There is even a little private garden where you can sit and relax. Beds are good, place is very clean, host is friendly - we are coming back for sure!

If you want a quintessential French experience then this is for you. Set in a quiet courtyard off a busy street it is a peaceful haven away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Charming host with the option of safe off street parking. We loved it.

A small and tidy studio space in a quiet enclave, steps away from a bustling street with butchers, bakers—alas, no candlestick makers, but two grocery stores, a flower shop, a garden store, bookstore, cafes, etc. It’s a lively neighborhood with bus and subway virtually at your doorstep. Caveat: You’ll have to navigate a narrow hallway and two short runs of stairs to reach this little hideaway, and the kitchen is tiny. But it’s only a 2-minute round trip to get your oven-fresh morning baguette, and I accepted the kitchen challenge and managed a sublime osso bucco. I’m a solo traveler in my 70s, and this 6-day visit suited me perfectly. The owners, Véronique and Frederic, are charming and accommodating.

This was our first stop in our first visit to Paris and it was a nice place to stay. It was very close to our daughter's apartment and close to public transportation. Communication from Veronique was great. We felt very welcomed and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Every detail for the comfort of your stay is provided, and if you want quiet to write, as I did, this is your address.

The studio of Veronique is very cosy and clean. It is close to the metro station Alexandre Dumas. The communication with Veronique was great. She helped us to get some information about Covid-19 and she searched especially for out daughter a creperia. Thanks again for the great time in Paris.
