Hotel La Playa

Hotel La Playa is the perfect accommodation for visiting Cala Gonone. There is free parking on site, and shops, and the port are within 10min walking from the hotel, easy if you are taking a boat tour to walk to the port. The views from the rooms are magnificent, worth paying for the sea view, it’s just stunning. The rooms were incredibly clean and comfortable. The staff were incredible, friendly, welcoming, a family run accommodation, each person was smiley and friendly and just made our stay even more special. The pool a perfect addition. At the time of staying at La Playa we had been in Sardinia for 2weeks and had eaten a lot of amazing food. The food at Hotel La Playa was INCREDIBLE, don’t bother going anywhere else to eat. Across our 3 nights we tried something new and everything was fresh, flavoursome, house made, made with love and care, generous portions and great value for money. Being a family run business, the family were in the kitchen, waiting our tables and greeting us everyday. The restaurant of hotel La Playa was filled with locals every night, a sign that you’re in good hands. The accommodation was fantastic, clean, comfortable and a great location, the added surprise of the incredible food was an unexpected bonus. We highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Cala Gonone, stay here, eat here. It was all perfect, we didn’t want to leave!

Pool was small and quiet but nice. Restaurant was goo value and the food was good. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Short walk into the town. Very clean.

Breakfast was limited for choice. The decor and furnishings were a bit old fashioned.
